So this means nothing now?
Because, my lord! This was, in my opinion, the most beautiful scene in the franchise! Candace’s depression was being treated like it mattered! She had self awareness! She seemed to want to turn over a new leaf! And then the show being revived for additional seasons just undermined it with Candace going back to being the same jackass she always was. I get that it’s ultimately her role, but this was a good ending point. It really was. There was no reason for Disney to render her redemption completely meaningless. Side note: I haven’t watched any of season 5 but from what little I know, Candace just resumes her old role.
