Decided to purchase the game as I’ve had an incredible time playing Root and wanted to play another game Ledger has released, they again did not disappoint!

Our group decided to overall enter the game blind, other than the watching a quick 22 minute YouTube vide and briefing the rules before starting.

We definitely made a bunch of subpar plays, I feel we never placed down any cities nor taxed very much because ransacking the court felt just far to powerful, looting was the main reason for battles, and we placed a ton spaceports because of just how aggressive the board was.

Overall, everyone in the group found the game to be amazing; the game presented a very captivating puzzle system, having your actions limited to tour card draw was very frustrating but made such interesting plays and made you think instead of “how can I make these cards work towards my plans” to more “what can I do with my cards?”

Decided to get Arcs; Root has been so much fun.
