[thank you] I FOUND THEM, part 3!!!✨💌✨🎉🌸😁

More thank-yous that are long overdue. Some day, I hope to be an organized person. Some day soon, I hope to have my own private office space that's not the dining room table!

[thank you] I FOUND THEM, part 2!!!✨💌✨🎉🌸😁

I misplaced a pile of holiday cards this winter. Through the miracle of tidying, they have reappeared! My apologies to those who waited for a well-deserved thank-you for so long.

As a Quaker, how do you relate to your body?

I'm doing some self inquiry that has led to examining how I think of, dress, and care for my body. I'm asking myself if I care for the body in a way that's in line with my values (do I treat it with respect? Am I a loving steward of this living vessel?) .

This has led to curiosity about how other folks with Quaker values approach the body. Do the 'spices' inform your self care, as well as your approach to the outer world? Do you have a particular way of eating that you feel is most harmonious? Do you feel this is a frivolous inquiry, and wish to tell me so?

I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on this!

[Request] a hidden or coded message [Canada]

When I was a very impressionable teen, someone I was crushing on sent me a perfectly acceptable and polite message from on a family vacation (probably assuming my parents would read it). They made a little mark on the envelope, indicating where a secret, hidden message was acrostic within the letter.

I honestly thought & still think this was the coolest thing ever, but I hesitate to ask for it because I also read lots of fiction and am fairly certain I lack the brains for any complex codes like smart people in novels are always breaking.

Still.

Would you try it, and forgive me if I can't unravel the message?

If you'd like an exchange, I could also try this, OR I could tell you about the thing I'm learning these days, or about my garden.

Let me know!

The cat booped my nose.

The other night I was lying in bed, looking at my phone (Reddit probably), and kitty was under the covers beside me sleeping. He was the "little spoon" in position but in actual fact he's a very long cat who can stand and look over the dining table easily.

In his sleep, he stretched out, and one front paw extended out from under the covers with all his long spidermonkey toes spread wide... collided gently and closed around my nose (no scratches even) and then withdrew back under the covers.

It felt so loving and intentional!
