I’m really disgusted with myself because of no self control and self sabotage (overeating)

Hello all.

I am a female, almost 22, 160 cm, trying to lose weight and my ideal goal (in my head) is 53-50 kg. Just a year ago I was pretty close to my goal, but I ruined every fucking thing and now I am back to approximately 60kg.

A year ago, for 6+ months I was tracking my calories intake, had physical activities and it really felt good. I can’t say my nutrition was 100% clean, I was eating everything I wanted but not too much (1500-1600 cal. was my maximum within calorie deficit).

However, one day I saw 55 kg. on the weights and genuinely started to feel I can relax and have some rest from the deficit. Stopped to eat within the deficit, started overeating and didn’t pay attention to it – or, to be honest, I did pay attention lot of attention but never took any actions and responsibility for doing this to myself. Overeating started to come back in my life.

Now, I’m trying to get back on track and I want to lose the weight and drop the habit of overeating (most important). Last week, for just 3 or 4 days I succeeded, but then it happened again – I was “too busy”, then “too lazy” etc etc to cook healthy foods for myself, to track these damn it calories, to even drink water… my recent days was fulfilled with pizza, chips, crisps, then once again pizza chips crisps, huge amounts of sweets… I am really tired of myself being like a pig. I can’t say I’m big. I am normal, but much fat is there, in my body (especially legs and stomach).
I really try to stop. I don’t have much stress in my life, I am overall a happy person, but overeating is a big problem for me. It has always been, I was always a bit chubby child in my childhood as well.

Today I tried to write every feeling down. Like: I had a pizza today, but I ate 1/2 of it. Today I bought a bar of chocolate, but didn’t eat all of it.

I do not if this strategy helps, but god damn, it feels like I’ll never recover from overeating.

How fast did you finish Charlotte Tilbury beauty highlighter wand?

So I decided to try this viral highlighter back in 2024 and can’t say I have been using it on a daily basis. It was just there in makeup collection. Now I try to focus on it as I recently got a present – Dior highlighters palette (Backstage) and do not want the CT one to become moldy or something like that (due to no use and shelf life) 😂

Just grabbed this highlighter and realized it IS already expired according to the packaging – only from 6 to 12 months after opening. Does it mean I’m going to throw it away? No, I just feel like it does not bring any harm to my skin.

It has 12 ml of highlighter in it, so it’s a good amount. I have no idea how long it is going to take so I’m curious how long
did it last for you.

Finally done with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5+ baume

*the cream was not coming out of the packaging so had to cut it and use the remains. :)

What can I say… this baume has been with me for a long time, but I almost never used it before. Until I noticed I already had thousands of body lotions so I have to use at least something.

I know many people love this balm, but I honestly didn’t understand the hype. Surely, it makes the skin very soft. Someone applies this as a face mask – actually I think was the best option for me, as when I was using it as an ordinary normal cream, I was not really happy with my face being white. Even when it is applied for night, I wake up and see the cream was not absorbed, and then the cream starts pilling on the face and I can simply roll the cream off with hands.

Almost done with Clarins lip oil! :)

I’m really happy this lip oil comes to an end…
Clarins makes decent products in my opinion. Bought two lip oils in different shades – this one is Chocolate and the previous one was Plum.

Plum was not a good choice, I didn’t expect the color to stay after the oil absorbs. Then I had high hopes for Chocolate color that was highly trendy on TikTok, so I was easily influenced, obviously. It is just too orangey for me and I expected it to leave a more cold-brownish color.

The consistency is nice, it smells great too, but the huge issue is the horrible packaging, that’s why I can’t take this oil with me outside, it leaks horribly - second screenshot is the best representation of this problem. I’ve heard of this before but didn’t thought it’s going to happen to me as it was okay before. I try to apply at least 5 times a day when I’m at home, so a progress is here and soon I hope it will be officially finished :)

Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey Lip oil dries the lips

Hi all!

So I bought this lip oil from Nuxe honey oil (see the screenshot) when I was traveling to Switzerland as I liked their Huile Prodigieuse oil (for hair and body; I had a yellow one) before. They all had an amazing smell and when I thought about getting something from lip care line.

Honestly I can’t use it now, it feels so uncomfortable. When I apply it, I feel like it does nothing for the lips except drying them. I’ve heard that oils do not moisturise / hydrate the lips as they only can retain the moisture. But the composition of this oil seemed very rich and varied.

I am just curious if anybody has this problem with this product. Maybe I should not just apply it straight to lips, but rather apply a mask or a balm, and only after that it’s better to put this oil.

I’m currently doing a project pan thing and totally forgot about this product, but do not want to throw it out…
just would like to know what are the possible alternative ways of using it.

Thank you in advance!

Nivea 30 ml crème – never thought it would be so hard to finish it

I’m really sick of this Nivea cream 😭
It’s a small size and I’m really proud of people who manage to end a full size, like 100 ml or even more.

I honestly can’t stand the smell of this cream and not happy with the consistency as well…
I know it might be good for winter (where I live, we have pretty harsh cold winters, up to -15 or -20) but I decided to project pan the product I will clearly not be using in the future as I have 2 big tubes of Eucerin, Bepanthen and Loccitane which I adore + one more Nivea hand cream :(

I expect to finish it until May 17.. wish me luck 🥲

Physicians formula monoi butter bronzer

Hello all!

I think many of us have heard about this bronzer. It is nice, looks good, but I’m trying to do a project pan with it.

Is it a good idea in your opinion? Because I have a feeling that I’ve been using it for a while now, and there is little to no difference. I started applying it more intensively and not only to the face, but to the neck as well. Not to say it’s my 3rd bronzing product, as apart from this one, I have a huge Chanel bronzer and Essence bronzing drops… huge amounts. This is not normal 😕

How long did it take you to finish this bronzer from Physicians Formula?

Thank you in advance!

P.S - I probably have put the wrong name of the bronzer, it should be Murumuru, not Monoi
