McChicken vs Chicken Royal Burgers

McChicken vs Chicken Royal Burgers

Just thought it would be an interesting series putting similar burgers and items from fast food places to find the best macros so you can fit more into the 1200 a day.

I even had a look at McDonald’s “healthy wrap” which is 593 calories 🤯 you could eat a double cheese burger, 3x nuggets, a frozen coke and STILL add tomato sauce and be under by 18 calories?? Never understand how these chicken wraps get advertised as healthy?

Built a macro counter for Hungry Jack’s (and a few other chains) — would love some feedback from actual HJ’s regulars

(If this is not allowed I understand and I can remove this)

I built something for myself. A month later I think it’s ready for an early beta, and since you guys actually eat this stuff regularly, your feedback would mean more than most.

Full disclosure — it’s early. Every HJ’s item has a photo and real macros pulled from their nutrition guide, but a few newer or discontinued items might be missing, and I’m still ironing out the design. Any feedback on what’s confusing, what’s missing, or what you’d want from something like this would genuinely help.

It also covers McDonald’s, KFC, Red Rooster and Domino’s if you eat around — but HJ’s is where I started, so if anything looks off on their menu specifically, that’s the most useful feedback I could get right now.

It’s free at macromenu.com.au — works as a home-screen app on iOS and Android straight from the browser.

Thanks for having a look, keen to hear what you think.

I’m building an Australian fast food macro app - Would love some input

Hey guys! For the last month I’ve been building a macro counting app called MacroMenu.

If this isn’t allowed let me know, sorry in advanced!

It occurred to me a month ago when I was hungry and standing in line at McDonalds and had 500 calories left for the day that there wasn’t an easy way to see item calories. All the signs have everything in Kilojules and I didn’t want to stand around converting them all.

Some days I have 800 calories left and I need to hit a protein goal with the calories also. I started building the app for myself but now I think it’s time to release a SUPER early beta test.

Not all photos are on there and some restaurants have items missing but it’s a proof of concept really, any design advice would be appreciated. It will eventually have most Australian food places and all photos and items will be on there.

Let me know what you think and for now it’s free but eventually there will be a free version and an upgrade version.

The site is called:

Macromenu.com.au

You can even add it as a home screen app for iOS and android users from the web version.

Thank you so much for having a look around!
