I wish i had a picture of the actually gummies. But the gummies are thick, have fun shapes and the hardness is really good! Not too hard like a haribo but not super soft either. The flavours are nice and the sour level is, i think, perfect for me. They have a "sweet 'n sour" version, which i'd assume it's their version of a sour patch kid. But think i'll stick to these since i prefer straight sourness. I found these at my grocery store in Canada

[Product Request] favourite strong retinol (0.5% - 1.0%) for acne prone skin

Hello!

I'm 27 and i've been doing skin care for about 8 years now. i've been on a journey with retinol for about a year. I started with the brand Cosrx, started with their 0.1 and had no problems with purging or major sensations on my skin. Cosrx strengths are 0.1 -> 0.3 -> 0.5. After moving on and finishing 0.3 for the first time, again i had no issues with it. I decided to move on to 0.5 since i wasn't feeling any sensitivity with the 0.3. By the way, i was always careful when using retinol. I was always following the instructions and never used retinol this strong every night, even though my skin was really used to it.

I forgot the 0.5 retinol was oily and as someone with acne prone skin, i personally avoid anything oily. Still tried it. I've been using it every 3rd night and i've noticed some small pimples showing up. I don't know if this is retinol purging or straight up my skin not liking the oil. But the other thing is that it smells really bad. Wether im purging or not, i just makes me nauseous smelling it on my face. Right now, im mixing it in my body lotion and have no issues there.

Sooo basically, what is your strong retinol recommendations? I would like something gel or cream-like, unscented or slight scent. My friend recommended Paula's choice but it is really expensive. But i'll think about it if anyone else recommend it too.

Recent pulls

Last haul was terrible so i'm glad this time i got some chases and some that i just like. I was kinda unsure about the "Why So Serious" series and didn't know if i would collect from there. But i realized that i liked all of the options after taking the time to think about it, even from characters i don't really collect.

The crybaby and the feast skullpanda were chases. I really love "The Anger" skullpanda and im not a dimoo girl, but this dimoo pendent was really nice. Successful popping!

First product i ordered from the popmart app! This isn't a blind box. This comes from the Twinkle Twinkle Gelato series. The other, i guess, companion pendent is a honey bee. That one has a squeaker in the tummy but this one, Milk Pudding, has a unique pattern on every plush; no one has the same pattern!
