Merci !

If you just bought OG native, you may switch to Stadium Native for free!

As written in the FAQ :

"This is terrible timing. I JUST bought OG Helix Native!

No worries; there’s a 60-day grace period. If you purchased and registered Helix Native between June 4th, 2026 and August 4th, 2026, you can upgrade to the full license of Helix Stadium Native for free."

Mtb enthusiasts, have you managed to fit a mountain bike inside the boot ?

I'm talking about a big mtb, like an enduro 29er. With the front wheel removed, can it fit inside the boot of a 2020 e-Soul ? Thanks !

Mic splitters for amp modelers ?

Hi all,

My band and I are in the process of building a rack for IEMs. So we are in search for splitter, and found the Palmer RMMS8. Looks good at first, but I'm not sure about the max input level, given we are going to plug in amp modelers (1 Line6 Helix, 1 quad cortex and 1 HX stomp). The Helix can switch to mic level, but for the QC it's difficult to be sure it will not exceed the max input level on the splitter. What are your thoughts ? Should we instead buy a splitter that specifies clearly it accepts line level signals? Sorry if it's not precise enough, it's my first post here, thx

Issue with B string dropped to A

Hi all,

I play a Combustion 5 in drop A. I can't get the low A string to sound good. The original .130 was a bit too thin so I put a .135, and got issues with it. The intonation is fine, but the overnotes sounded sharp, like if the string was out of tune with itself. I thought it was an issue with the string so I changed it for another .135 from newtone. It's a bit better, but the notes still sound a bit sharp even when in tune and with the intonation properly adjusted. Could it be an installation issue ? I have been careful to bend the string before cutting it so the core wouldn't slip inside. Would a .140 help ?

Metal players : fingers or pick, what do you prefer ?

I play bass since 15 years but only started to play metal music since 1+ year. I must say it has been a big change for me : I went from playing on a 4 string to playing on a 5 string, and more importantly, started to use a pick on 50-70% of my band's songs. I really find an use for both. I use the pick mostly when I want to play fast, triplets, or double the guitars with an agressive sound, and finger when I write more distinctive basslines from the guitars, or when I need to switch to slap during the song. I learned 3-finger technique because I really wanted to play everything fingerstyle, but I must say I prefer the sound and the attack of a pick when playing triplets.

I'm curious to hear what has been your journey on this topic.

I was pretty sure they are round core but I can find the info back.

I just ordered custom set to my local string builder, and chose round cores and now I'm a bit underwhelmed (they have a lot less mids than the dingwall strings, and an unpleasant top end) so I wanted to be sure before trying another set.
