Armadillon Enemies from the FF 13 series
I always thought the design of these enemies, such as the Scalebeast or Navidon, was awesome, with the separate carapace that melts away after staggering the enemies, leaving just a naked armadillo. Very pleasing to look at with cool animations and textures.
