Xiaomi 17 or Xiaomi 17T Pro?

Help me out on which one to choose!

I really like compact phones, but in my country the Xiaomi 17T Pro price is cheaper. I heard a lot of overheating issues with the Xiaomi 17, if it means spending more = more stress and risk, I will definitely avoid it. But I still am in doubt on which one to choose.

I don't game heavily, I'm just a casual user.

If you're a Xiaomi 17 user and you adored it, then help me not to be scared buying one, if it's the other way around, warn your brother out.

HyperOS3 on Old Redmi Devices Sucks

I have been using Redmi Note 13 pro + from 2023, the year it got released. Absolutely no problem, buttery smooth, battery life is not good though. But damn I have been using the HyperOS3 for 3 months now, it is genuinely the worst experience of my life. This thing is so unoptimized, my camera always "stopped working" when I try to open, it takes 1 full minute to actually load it. Imagine during the Xiaomi's MIUI 14 the battery life is already bad. Now using the HyperOS3, I use the phone from 6:30 AM fully charged, and it hits to 19% at 12:00 PM on light usage. I guess the 120W charging brick really helps. But this update feels intentional, I wish I could go back like how I want to go back to my ex.

Anyways, has anyone had the same experience as me? Especially Redmi users.

Thanks.
