A few days ago I posted on this subreddit that I didn't know how to tell my brother (also a furry) that I was one too. I finally told him today, showed him my drawings, he showed me his, we talked a bit about the fandom, and most importantly, we understood each other. I was pretty scared, but it ended up being a nice conversation. And lastly, it's worth mentioning that WE'RE TWINS. It was kind of weird, but fun, haha.

So i've known my brother has been a furry for years, but he’s so private about it and keeps it hidden most of the time.

I joined the fandom shortly after him but didn't do anything for years. It wasn't until this year that I finally created my own fursona (a Protogen) and started making art.

I want to open up to him so we can share this hobby, but I’m afraid he’ll feel invaded or exposed since he’s so guarded. Should I just show him my art and see his reaction, be direct? Or just do nothing.
