Need Guidance
I gave the ISI Entrance Test half-heartedly this year, being very honest. Was primarily focused on JEE, but I have always had a soft spot for mathematics. I did solve the pyps and some other online material, but no proper books or coaching.
It was a great experience, I loved thinking about the various problems, but UGA was much tougher than I had anticipated. I knew I would struggle with number theory and combinatorics a bit, but even calculus did not seem to be of much help. And those Multiple Choice questions were incredible, i completely solved only one. Matching with the answer keys today, I am not crossing 60, but cant complain much about that.
UGB paper seemed kinda easy compared to last years.. I myself managed 3 proofs, proper logic and all, and attempted 3 others partially.
So now I am really thinking if I should take a drop (full or maybe partial) to thoroughly prep for this exam. It has reinvigorated some part of me that seemed to have disappeared in my +2.
I would really appreciate any inputs from seniors, and the serious aspirants out there...
