I’ve been getting the itch to go fishing again since giving up in my teenage years.

Im looking to take my kids with me and always enjoyed going for pike many years ago.

I would be looking for a nice lightweight set up to go after perch and small pike.

I’ll be taking out small kids with me so just want to be able to have a walk down the canal and stop off along the way at different points and try our luck.

Ideally a telescopic rod so it can all pack down nice and small in backpack or even chuck it under the buggy if the littlest one comes with.

So after all of that what I’m asking is, can you recommend me a budget friendly rod, reel and small landing net?

My internet dropped out overnight and I’ve tried restarting the hub 3 a few times and no longer even get a power light.

Is my only option to get a replacement from virgin ir is there any aftermarket options I can buy as my partner works from home and we need it back up and running asap.
