As the title may already suggest, yes I have begun to go down the deep end of the archiving of Megadeth Memorabilia😭 the newest additions to the collection happen to be the following… 1992 Countdown to Extinction North American Tour tee and shorts both owned and worn by Marty Friedman as well as a Clash of the Titans Local crew shirt owned by Marty and a 1997 Midtflyns European Festival Te (both not pictured but can add pictures if interested) and last but definitely not least a signed private invitation to the UK Youthanasia Listening/Launch Party at Walpole House in Twickenham🤟🤟 some random stuff but definitely some gems!!

I have recently acquired this beautiful piece of MTV and Megadeth history, particularly the Youthanasia Era. Today we have one of if not the only physical copy of the “Approval Master Tape” of Megadeth’s “NIGHT OF THE LIVING MEGADETH” Halloween Special, used to promote and premier the Youthanasia Album on 10/31/1994. The concert recordings for the show were recorded on 10/25/1994 and were from their concert in Webster Hall, NY. As well as footage from the Hollywood Castle Release Party. After the concert was recorded, Capitol Records send the recordings and any other materials to Image Group Post for Editing and Mastering of the tape before getting sent to MTV and any other Radio channels that were airing the special. The timeline goes 10-25(concert materials),10-29(mastering and editing) and then 10/31 the air date for MTV🙌🏽🙌🏽 Definitely a one of a kind piece for the collection!🎸🎸

Some of you have been asking to see some of the pages from the itineraries that came in yesterday, with most itineraries, they are mainly day to day scheduling and management details regarding everything involved with the tour. The cool thing about the Ozzfest 98 itinerary is that it doesn’t just focus on one particular band but rather covers everyone’s day to day including, the management and details for each band, merchandising contacts, the map of all locations being played as well as the Act schedules for each show from second stage to main stage🫡🫡let me know if there are any other items from the collection that you guys want to take a look into more in depth🙌🏽🙌🏽

SOME OF YALL WERE ASKING WHAT CAME IN THE BOX AND WELL HERE IT IS, STRAIGHT FROM THE PERSONAL COLLECTION OF MEGADETH AND CACOPHONY LEGEND MARTY FRIEDMAN 🙏🏽🙏🏽This part of the collection that was purchase contains personal VIP passes, promotional stickers throughout 1990-1998, Crown of Worms Promotional Babyhead CD signed by the man himself, Signed Sample Score Books for Rust In Peace and Countdown to Extinction, UK press Clippings throughout 1993-94, 3 personal itineraries for the following tours (Youthanasia South America 95, Cryptic Writings fall 97, and Ozzfest 98 with tour program). the top pieces of the collection include 2 shirts personally owned and worn by Marty Friedman including a custom airbrushed tee and a Promotional European Cryptic Writings v neck as well as some of the earliest known promotional material for the Japanese Expansion of the CyberArmy Fan club handled and owned by Marty Friedman himself!!!!
