Moonbow - Zkittles x Dosido

$99.35 OTD at Revolution Normal for the Ounce

This batch smells killer. Archive Seeds is who does this strain as well as one of my favorites, Rainbow Belts, the sweetness and the candy profile is really similar between this and the belts. Straight up skittles and bubblegum on the nose with some gas in the back.

Looks - Nothing super crazy in terms of size. Some decent medium sized nugs. I like the color but they look like at one point they were at the very bottom of a turkey bag with a lot of other weed on top of it. It has this gently smushed look to it. I’m not mad. Just an interesting look/ reminds me of Revolutions Paradise in terms of its visual.

Smell - It’s that candy gas. The fruit and candy from the skittles is dominant, the dosidos just brings the gas to the table and makes it is a really pleasant smoke rolled up in a joint. This deserves a clean bong because the terps are noice.

Taste - the taste is really nice, the bubblegum flavor pops here and there. A lot of Island flower has this metallic taste for me- I feel like it’s much more feint here. Overall this is just as someone who enjoys the candy strains this was a hit for smell and taste.

Effects - Heavier side of the hybrid spectrum for me. I’m not shut down, but I’m withdrawn and calmed. This is ‘get lost in some activity’ weed imo. Reading feels fun, my phone feels like a time portal and the World Cup is just outrageous. I can see this being heavier for the light users.

I’d buy this again. I’ve been eyeing a second. It’s been a fun smoke. What’s your favorite candy gas strain ya’ll? Cakes count!

I bought the 14g jar - solid pick up for sure. I was going to kick myself if this wasn’t because the Rev/GTI store in Normal also has $79.00 Island ounces.

Looks - Small nugs throughout but up close these things are gorgeous. The trichome coverage is dope, the wild look of the mature and immature pistils is lovely and adds to its personality. I would be happier with some whoppers but I am aware that not every plant produces giant nugs- perhaps that is the trade off for flavor.

The break down and texture of this bud is almost a carbon copy of the Brownie Scout parent.

Smell - It’s easy to understand how we get a name like Easy Bake. This is a baked goods cultivar for sure- it has a chocolate aroma from the Brownie Scout that really clings to the fingers and reminds me a bit of the Buttermilk Biscuits from Revolution a few years back.

Taste - This is some tasty weed- the Tyde Pods lineage has Cherry Cheesecake and I can’t help but think it’s doing some heavy lifting here because it’s got the depth of Brownie Scout but there’s more going on. It’s reminiscent of a Kush Mints and the baked goods flavor is front and center.

Effects - Initially this brought on a nice high that I experienced in my upper body. No couch lock, no intense heaviness in the eyes or head- I was actually mad productive with this strain. One of those smokes that aided me before having to do some outdoors task I was procrastinating. Good for gaming as well.

When smoked early or late, it’s a great tool to get back to bed or to get comfy enough to chill and relax for the night.

I found a seed in my batch but I’m not upset- hasn’t negatively effected flavor or potency. I’d get this again.

Took a gamble on this because Ozones Heir Heads was good the last time I had it! The cross is Wedding Cake x Grape pie and damn yo- this smells delicious. If you like your weed sweet, this is a treat.

It’s a true Wedding Cake aroma with floral grape notes on top. It smells and smokes clean, it’s a little on the overly relaxing side, but that’s what I was looking for! Something to curb my energy level and lessen anxiety. It might have you or your smoking buddies yawning a little but it’s a great choice to unwind. It helped to clear my mind and get me grounded.

The nugs are fresh and I actually like the cure a lot- it doesn’t have squish or give to it- it is on the firmer side which i have a personal preference for. It still has just enough moisture to gunk up a grinder. Some whopper nugs were in my bag too!

This was 25% off with a $10 off, it was $62.00 for this half ounce.

I know it’s not a new drop, but this was something that I enjoyed smoking and the quality did take me back a little bit for the price and the brand. I would suggest checking this out if you haven’t!
