Any tops that aren't very loose or oversized look terrible on me. 🥲 I have a relatively narrow waist, which makes it even worse. When I try on something that fits my boobs, it’s too big everywhere else, and when I wear my actual size, I can’t get it past my boobs. I’m super frustrated with shopping because I just can’t find anything that looks good. Do you have any tips?
Hi! I'm having trouble finding modest swimwear. The tricky part is that I'm looking for something that doesn't have a built-in bra. Those usually don't fit me well, so I'd rather wear a regular bikini top underneath.
It’s important to me that my cleavage, stomach, back, and butt are covered. A burkini, on the other hand, would be a bit too much coverage for me. Ideally, it shouldn’t be longer than my knees and elbows (a little shorter would be okay). I live in Western Europe, so it should be available there.
I wanted to try wearing a long, modest dress in the summer for the first time to test if it's comfortable enough for me. To be precise, it was 30 degrees Celsius, which I know isn’t hot for many parts of the world, but it is for Europe. I fully expected it to be unbearable, but that wasn’t the case at all. I actually found it more comfortable than the short, tight clothes I usually wear because it doesn’t cling to the skin as much. My takeaway is that I can dress modestly in the summer, I just have to choose loose, flowy dresses and natural fibers. I also tried wearing a headscarf, and as long as I wasn't standing in direct sunlight, it was surprisingly comfortable too. I tied it loosely but with lots of coverage, and I didn't wear an undercap.
