Triatic or Urge Wyrm Possession?

I’ve been looking into the Possessed recently, particularly the Fomori. Fomori are made from full-body Bane-possession, and that led me back to the greater aspects of the Wyrm itself, like the Triatic & Urge Wyrms. Is it theoretically possible these aspects of the Wyrm to possess, and eventually fuse with, a person to create some kind of super Fomor?

22TF, Looking for TTRPG Players!

There’s currently one campaign I’m looking for players to fill out two last slots, being a World of Darkness x Cyberpunk game! System-wise we’d be using the 20th Anniversary editions of World of Darkness games, but I’m open to translating 5th edition materials over as well as general homebrew!

While we don’t have a schedule yet, Saturdays & Sundays are currently the only days of the week that I CAN’T do, as I run other games on those days. Leave a comment and message me if you’re interested!

Edit: We’re also searching for two more players to join a CAIN campaign!

How does this sub feel about TTRPGs?

I’ve been trying to find the right crowd to have in my TTRPG campaigns, and remembered this sub, so I figured I’d ask outright. Is it cool to look for TTRPG players here, or should those posts be kept to other communities?

Using WoD lore in CofD?

I’m in the beginning phases of planning out a campaign that is going to be cross-splat, and during my research I discovered WoD systems are significantly less cross-splat friendly than CofD. I mostly know and enjoy WoD lore though, and the whole premise of the campaign relies on the Triat.

My big questions are mainly how viable it is to run WoD lore in a campaign using CofD systems, and potential tips on running cross-splat for either setting’s rulebooks.

World of Future Darkness 2070’s

Ever since seeing the concept for Future World of Darkness, a crossover between WoD and Cyberpunk 2020, the concept of the setting has been stuck in my head. I adore both settings, especially the later years of the Cyberpunk setting. Eventually I started talking with friends about the concept and even maybe a campaign (dunno how the HELL it would be played rn), which made me start thinking about it even more.

What would the 2070s of a Future World of Darkness look like?

Would it essentially be a Technocracy win? Would Arasaka or Militech exist? How would each individual splat be changed?

Hell, what if the two worlds weren’t the one and the same from the start? What if the Wyrm was so close to winning the setting that the powers at play within WoD had to band together and merge their reality with another to prevent the end of everything?

How would the time of when the two worlds fuse affect the setting? How would a WoFD where the two settings fused in the 2020s differ from one where they fused in the 2040s, the 2070s, or from the start?

I’ve been thinking on this for like a week now, so I’d love to hear other people’s takes on this!

How to deal with actively antagonistic system members?

So for a while now we’ve had a system member who has been nothing but antagonistic. Spewing points of self-doubt or self-loathing, reiterating intrusive thoughts, reminding us of various traumas, etc. Then timing these remarks for either high points or low points, ruining good times and making bad times worse.

Has anyone else dealt with this? We’ve asked why they do it and the only consistent answers are “I dunno,” “I felt like it,” and “I wanted to.” We want to cooperate with them but it’s getting to the point where none of us, even the more patient ones, are losing our tolerance for it.

Does anyone else think Flux is underwhelming?

I’ve been playing and gm’ing CAIN for about a year now, and for the concept of time powers Flux feels kinda… eh? Especially given that the lore blurb mentions temporal events needing a whole Sin to regulate them. It has its utilities, but the powers you can get the most value out of all build up to potentially not being able to play the game either for an entire scene or until REST.
