TERMINÉ DRAKENGARD 3
Hi everyone; this post probably won't interest you much. But I wanted to share that I’ve finished my first Drakengard game: Drakengard 3. I came to it after playing the NieR Replicant remake and NieR: Automata. For years, I "hated" or simply had no interest in Drakengard—even knowing it’s a NieR prequel—because I once saw a summary of the Drakengard 1 story that absolutely sickened me. It made me want to vomit, dealing with things like a party member being a pedo... and the inclusion of incest. That kind of subject matter makes me physically ill. Recently, Drakengard 3 got a Spanish translation (my native language), so I decided to give it a chance. It has since become one of my favorite games. I can't put into words what the experience was like. It stings a bit that people call NieR: Automata a masterpiece but don't talk about the incredible work of art that is Drakengard 3. What I experienced with this game is unlike anything else I've played. That said, I hope you won't be angry about my opinion on Drakengard 1. Stories that are that explicit—even by Yoko Taro's standards—are really hard for me to handle. I just wanted to share my experience with you all. P.S. Zero and Mikhail made me cry. 💙
