MSI QD-OLED 1440p 240Hz vs Zowie XL2546X+, which should I buy in 2026?

I’m trying to decide between the MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED X24 and the BenQ Zowie XL2546X+ and would appreciate some advice. The MSI is a 27-inch 1440p 240Hz QD-OLED monitor priced at about $656 CAD after tax, while the Zowie is a 24.5-inch 1080p 240Hz TN esports monitor with DyAc+ costing around $784 CAD after tax. I mainly play competitive FPS games like Rainbow Six Siege and Apex Legends, but I also play GTA and Roblox and use my PC for school and general use. I’m torn because the MSI offers much better image quality, higher resolution, and is actually cheaper, but I’m concerned about OLED burn-in and long-term durability. On the other hand, the Zowie is more pro esports focused with better motion clarity and no burn-in risk, but it’s more expensive and lower resolution. I’m basically wondering which one would be the better long-term buy in 2026

Sold a motherboard on Marketplace, buyer inspected it in person, now claims a missing AM5 pin and wants a refund

I sold an AM5 motherboard through Facebook Marketplace. Before the sale, I removed it from my system, packaged it carefully, and took photos of the socket. I specifically told the buyer to inspect it before purchasing. He looked at it in person and told me it looked good, then completed the purchase.

After taking it home, he messaged me saying there was a missing pin in the socket and demanded a refund. He insists he didn't damage it and says this is unacceptable. He's also saying he's going to report me to the Marketplace group as a scammer if I don't refund him.

The motherboard was not sold with any known damage. I checked the socket before the sale, have photos from before he took possession, and he inspected it himself before buying. The alleged issue was only reported after the motherboard left my possession.

At this point I've told him I won't accept a return because I can't verify what happened after the sale. He also has my address because he picked the item up from my house.

What would you do in this situation? Would you issue a refund, or stand by the sale since the buyer inspected and accepted the item before taking it home?
