This is located near the emergency brake under steering column. I assume it carries power but not sure what’s it for. 2005 limited, 4x4. Not sure how to add photos..

I realize better may be relative.. looking at a first gen for a daily driver, family car, and eventually off road explorer. Will the 5 speed and 40 more HP be better suited for my use?
