I have spent all day today trying to get an account closed and I am at my wits end. I was trying to link another one of my emails to my PayPal to receive a refund and in that process I learned that that email has been used to open a fraudulent PayPal account. This account was opened in Australia, the phone number is UK phone number (+44) and the verification emails come through in Swiss? (I am based in the USA) PayPal tried to ask me if maybe a family or a friend open an account with my email, which is crazy… I have spent all day, multiple phone calls, multiple emails trying to get this solved and they all keep telling me there’s nothing they can do. After finally speaking to a representative that said it’s above her and she can’t see anything, she said I have to call Australia’s customer service. I am so frustrated that I’m not being taken seriously and I don’t know what else to do. I want to blow them up on Facebook Instagram and Twitter, but those are not platforms I really use publicly so… and I really don’t want to have to call Australia customer service but I don’t know what else to do.

Just reaching out to see if anybody else has ever dealt with anything similar and if anyone’s called Australian customer service and I just don’t even know where to start.

Just got a brand new Sony Bravia 8 and for some reason the quick rewind button is not working. Everything else works besides that. I’ve reset and repaired the Roku, deleted and reinstalled apps. Went into Sony settings and did everything to get the remote to have all functionality, edited the CEC vs IR settings on the Roku, and nothing. I saw that post that Roku updated the Home Screen and mine looks the same so maybe my Roku is just old?? This is for the pro remote. Frustrating because it is one of my most used buttons and idk why it just stopped working. Brand new tv.

Maybe unrelated but now the apple tv app, whenever I open it, the whole Roku reboots. Just deleted and reinstalled the app, still doing it. I feel like I need a new Roku but I don’t want to spend the money if not necessary!

Edit to add: I went into peacock and the quick rewind works here. Was going to try in Apple TV but can’t get it to open. Also works in YouTube, just not in Netflix. How weird!!!
