The single drive that won Mark Ingram the Heisman

Was enjoying this thread on r/cfb the other day, titled Times where it felt like an individual player took over an entire game?

Ingram's Heisman-winning drive against South Carolina is the definition of it.

For anyone who wasn't watching yet, we're up in the game, but we looked absolutely helpless. McElroy was terrible. It seemed inevitable South Carolina would tie it up or win the game outright in the last few minutes.

So we said, fuck it, and ran the wildcat all the way down the field. Everyone knew Ingram was keeping every snap. It didn't matter.

If you were at the Pike's Peak Summit at around 11a Sunday, sitting on a big rock...

I was trying out some new settings on my phone camera, and I wanted a good landscape shot from the top. I found a good angle, but you two were sitting on a big rock looking out over the vista kinda in the middle. I couldn't find a way to frame you out of the shot I wanted, so I centered you instead.

Turned out kinda cool and not a picture you can get of yourself.

My wife and I were chasing my toddler around, so I couldn't offer to send the pair of pics to you in person.

The folks in the photo are probably not from here, but I thought it'd be cool to try to get it to them.

What's something hard to find outside of Denver?

I'm headed up to Denver from the Springs, so I figured I'd make a dispo stop. Only if there's something I can pickup up there that I can't get in the Springs though.

I usually just smoke caretaker flower, so I don't SUPER care about that.

But maybe something special and solventless?

I'm thinking maybe a Lasercat pawprint...

Strategy games where match time is between 10-15 minutes

I have a young son, so I only get to game occasionally when I wake up before him or stay up after him. That said, I rarely want to dive into something that is going to take a while to complete, especially since if he wakes up, I have to abandon the game.

I've been playing a ton of Starcraft 2, and the game times are just perfect for me.

I'm just sick of Stracraft 2.

Anything in the strategy vein (doesn't have to be RTS, could be a MOBA or a TCG for example) works. I just want to be able to resolve a game in 10-15 minutes typically.

Bonus points if it's got a competitive multiplayer.

Looking for something like "The Light Eaters"...but for birds

The exploration of plant neuroscience in The Light Eaters literally changed my whole life. Having a new understanding of what life entails was genuinely transformative.

Now I'm curious to learn more about birds, and I'm hoping to find something that brings the same sense of curiosity and wonder to the table.

Any recs?
