[Thamel] NEWS: Tennessee and Alabama will both wear their home jerseys for the games between the rivals in 2026 and 2027, per ESPN sources. This will mark the first time since 1970 that they wore Alabama crimson and Tennessee orange in the game, a longstanding tradition to that point.

If you were buying a Bama jersey and had to choose a current player’s name, who would it be?

No QB or Ryan Coleman Williams.

Thought this would be a fun subject. I’m not much of a jersey guy but was on one of the gear websites and saw where you could pick from any player so it got me to wondering who I’d pick if I were to buy one. I think I’d lean Bray Hubbard. What say you?

CFB/NFL analyst Aaron Taylor watched Alabama practice. He says the offensive line “will be able to run the ball, full stop” and they look “night and day” different from last year: “They were running through those boys.”

“Now we all know the talk all offseason is about whether or not Kalen DeBoer can fill Nick Saban’s shoes or who’s going to start at quarterback. Well, I’m here to tell you it’s going to be the offensive line that shuts up and ends all that talk.

“Alabama will be able to run the football this year, full stop. That’s the headline. The improvements year over year for what I saw in this unit after just watching them live for two hours with my own eyes is night and day.

“When they got to the second level, they didn’t just go up and try to settle into the linebacker. They were running through those boys. When it came to one-on-ones, they dominated that drill all across the board through the two-deep offensive line, using their hands, punching, trusting their technique, and starting the fight.

“When it comes to offensive line play, details are the difference. And the new OL coach Adrian Klemm, if you’re a young buck out there? Bring your butt to Alabama. Incredible job of coaching. … Klemm is an incredible teacher. He was a helluva player.

“The big difference I noticed already through a two hour practice from what I saw at anytime last year on tape from Alabama was the physicality at the point of attack.”

Ryan Grubb says Alabama is “close” to naming a starting QB: “I mean, we're getting close to game week, I would say by next week we'll have to make that call.”

The single drive that won Mark Ingram the Heisman

Was enjoying this thread on r/cfb the other day, titled Times where it felt like an individual player took over an entire game?

Ingram's Heisman-winning drive against South Carolina is the definition of it.

For anyone who wasn't watching yet, we're up in the game, but we looked absolutely helpless. McElroy was terrible. It seemed inevitable South Carolina would tie it up or win the game outright in the last few minutes.

So we said, fuck it, and ran the wildcat all the way down the field. Everyone knew Ingram was keeping every snap. It didn't matter.

34 days away from the season. How are you feeling right now?

We’re only about a month away now. How are you feeling? High expectations? Worried of a underperforming year? Just nervous in general?
