so i’ve had a dog for a few years, she’s about 3 years old. she is a pitbull but very very sweet. we have a few cats, a mother and her children. the children are almost a year old (aug 11th is their birthday). so one of the children like overnight developed some sort of hatred for my dog. i do not want to part with him because he’s my miracle baby. he had fading kitten syndrome at birth and i worked round the clock caring for him and bringing him to a full recovery. my former coworker says he thinks my boy needs neutered, but i have to wait for my fiancee to get paid before we can do that. is there any advice for what i can do in the meantime to calm or stop the fights? he keeps attacking my girl for just walking by and she naturally reacts (she has never actually hurt him but she will pin him down and snarl) and i want to avoid the fights escalating like this. as of right now im giving them turns (when the cats out i put my dog in the bathroom since im in a studio apartment and dont have doors, and when my dogs out im putting my cat in the kennel). i feel bad doing this to either of them, but i dont know what else to do as a painfully low class pet owner. i dont want to hear anything about not being able to afford them, we manage just fine, i just cant up and take him to get fixed today i have to wait for my fiancées paycheck to hit.
