yesterday i went to american eagle in search for a cute jean skirt. i own two from two different brands but they fit me so odd. since i’m short (4’11’’) they seem to fit around my bum and then dip in and stick out. i thought it was since they were old brands or just ill fitting garments. when i tried on this super cute skirt yesterday, i was gutted to find out it fit almost the same way, except it made me look PAPER flat and super boxy from the front. now, i wouldn’t say i have a large butt or prominent curves at all, but i’ve included an image of me in my regular jeans i wore yesterday and i feel you can really see how flat the skirt makes me look. is this just any jean skirt? are there brands that make smaller friendly skirts? i tried on a double 0 for ref.

notifs (temporarily) not showing up after restart

say my phone died. i plug it up and let it charge a bit before turning it on. the apple logo shows up and in time i see my lock screen. I do not unlock the phone. if someone sends me a text message on instagram while the phone is on but not unlocked, does the notification show up on the lock screen? Im about 90% sure ive noticed before that notifications don’t show up until after i unlock my phone after it died/restarted. All that does is the shortcuts i have enabled on my phone and the battery sufficiently charged notification. sometimes ill “ignore” texts from people but the reality is that i really dont think they show up after restarting until you unlock it again. Another thing i can’t do until i’ve unlocked the phone after restarting/dying is face id. i always have to do my password the first time. this kinda leads me to believe that im not crazy about the notification thing lol.. can anyone help? is this actually happening and if so, is this normal? i have an iphone 12 btw

Is it safe to drink out of this coffee maker ?

My dad has had this coffee maker for over 6 ish years and today when I went to make myself a cup for the first time, I peeked inside and saw THAT. I’m now stuck wondering if it’s mold?? I’ve been drinking coffee from this thing WEEKLY. My dad has been drinking out of it DAILY. Even my mom and sister have had some.. Is it safe to continue to use it? Should I attempt to clean it or just tell my dad to replace it? For context, this is in the little compartment where you add the water..
