Hello all, I made a post earlier about travelling solo to puerto Colombia as a female digital nomad but wanted to go more in depth concerning the WiFi.

So it’s extremely important that I have stable connection to wifi since I work remote, and some friends who live out in Puerto told me the only part that doesn’t experience power outages is Pradomar.

However, I’m about to book an Airbnb in that area and saw multiple reviews about the power going out. Is there something I can purchase here as a back up, so when the power goes out I can remain working and connected to the internet until it comes back on?

I work off two monitors that are connected via a wire to this little black box we call the motherboard, and that black box has to be connected to the wall to power my monitors. I really, really want to work in Puerto Colombia and am willing to spend money on something, anything I can use as a back up in case the power goes out.

Can someone also please tell me how common it is for the power to go out in Pradomar? Is it multiple times a week or is it rare? Thanks in advance, I appreciate any answers!

Hello everyone, I hope I used the right flair! I’m a 27 year old Colombian American woman from USA and I’ve been staying in Barranquilla for about 2 months now. I have friends and family who live in the city, but I’m seriously considering staying in Puerto Colombia for a month and learning how to surf. I’ve gone out there a lot since I’ve been here and have fallen in love with it. Although I know Barranquilla isn’t that far, my main concern is that all my friends and family will be in Barranquilla, and I don’t really know anyone in puerto Colombia. I don’t want to be lonely during my time there.

I’m staying in an Airbnb and working remotely. How are some ways I can meet new people out there? If anyone is from puerto, would you like to meet up? What is there to do for fun out there? I know Barranquilla has more options in terms of night life, but are there options for someone like me who likes to drink but not club (I can’t dance 😭)

I really want to meet new people and make friends during my time there. If I had to rate my Spanish, I’d give it a 6. I can hold my own in a convo and don’t think conversating with anyone will be too hard for me. I really wanna go, but I’m Nervous about being lonely. Also, would you consider puerto to be safe for me to go out alone as a woman travelling solo?

Hoping you can help me here. I’m new to Telegram and just found out about the feature where you can upload a song onto your profile by choosing a song from your files and uploading it through there. I really want to upload music to my profile but I’m not sure how other people are doing it. I have an iPhone btw. I downloaded Pixabay but it doesn’t have any of the songs I’m looking for. As an example, I wanted to download The Enemy by Big L but they didn’t have it. I tried searching up another Big L song but they don’t have any music by him. Anyone know of an app with a bigger music selection or of a way I can do this please?
