No, that wasn’t a Pixel 11 hardware leak at Google I/O '26 ❌📱

That glow on the back of the phone wasn't an accidental leak or a physical hardware slip-up. It was actually Demis Hassabis (CEO and Co-Founder, Google DeepMind) demonstrating Gemini Omni, Google’s new generative video editing model.

He took a standard selfie video and used conversational AI prompts to rewrite reality in real-time, digitally adding that neon light effect right over his phone's camera ring to showcase the model's physics and tracking capabilities. 😲👀

That said... Google loves a hidden Easter egg.

The entire setup is really well done. The screen protector is flush with the case from edge-to-edge with a bit of a lip at the top and bottom, so when you put the case face down (on a flat surface), the screen is raised up.

We got a good deal directly through the Google (🇨🇦) store. $679 (regular price) then with current promotions and existing credits it worked out to $485.52.

Under $500 for a new device is pretty good if you ask me.

If you're looking to get the new Pixel 10a, now would be a good time. Google doesn't usually discount any further later on. I.e., this should be the most discount for the new 10a.
