Emerging Italian rapper here — looking for advice on niche keywords for hip-hop/rap content
Hey everyone. I make rap music in Italian under the name ZigZlavik, and I'm trying to figure out if my channel's growth is in line with the average for an emerging artist or if there's something structural I'm getting wrong.
Current stats:
406 subscribers
2 videos currently published (2.1K and 5.7K views)
My questions:
Does the engagement (likes/comments relative to views) look average or above average for a small channel? Not sure I'm reading the data right.
How much does upload consistency actually matter compared to individual video quality, in your experience?
For anyone doing music/rap on YouTube: are Shorts still the fastest way to build a subscriber base, or is it better to focus elsewhere?
