I know there's been a bit of hostility and with some of the recent posts about the other ban d members trying to get closer to Jerry. Discussion is fine.
The problem is that myself and many others on here don't like drama. We can disagree about the direction that the Grateful Dead went but we have to keep those discussions civil.
Again, please keep the subreddit drama-free. Everyone on board with that?

I'm a Corporal in the reserves looking to CT to regforce. Same trade and element (logistics branch).
My questions are:
Am I correct in my understanding that I will keep my rank because Cpl and under are "uncontrolled ranks", therefore they are retained upon CT?
Assuming I remain a Cpl, what can I expect in terms of living quarters? Will I be able to get a private room in the shacks or will I have to share a sleeping space with a roommate?
If there are any former reservists here that CTed to regforce (preferably in logistics trades), I would love to hear your overall experience and if you regret it or not.

Does anyone else feel like the various band members throughout the years were competing to get closer to Jerry?
I can't entirely blame them. Let's face it, Jerry was the face of the band. They all wanted to be connected to that which I understand.
I feel like opportunities were missed because of it which is too bad. There was some real talent besides Jerry but they've largely been overshadowed.
I want to test elements of Jocko's philosophy in some unconventional ways.
Let's assume for the sake of the hypothetical that ghosts are in fact real whether we believe in them or not.
If Jocko witnessed what appeared to be a paranormal event, how would he react?
Would he be spooked or afraid of it in any capacity?
Would this create some sort of exception to his usual philosophy and behavior?
I'm actually serious and would like to know. If anyone is in touch with him and can suggest this question to be covered on the actual podcast itself I would also really appreciate it.
