Even using an impact and a screwdriver on top to pry all they do is spin forward or reverse, I'm almost to the point of trying to align the headlights and then weld them on unless anyone has a better idea.
The drivers and passenger Windows do not work sometimes but there is a way to get them to work, I have to turn off and remove the key open the driver's door close it then reinsert the key and turn it to run, sometimes repeating this a few times. Opening and closing the door alone will not get the windows to work as well as just removing and reinserting the key will also not work it needs to be in that order. I've already fixed broken wires inside the door. Sometimes not every time I can hear a relay clicking repeatedly trying to roll the window down.
The current carburetor installed on this Columbia Par car built Harley-Davidson is a Walbro LMB 230, and I've only been able to find a replacement main jet on a specialty vintage golf cart website that comes up to over $50 shipped are there any other compatible carburetors that would work on this? Or a more affordable main jet? Any help is appreciated.
Replaced the clock spring and tested the brake pressure switch; has good continuity. Still no cruise, buttons on the steering wheel light up and the horn works. I also installed a brake controller and the led light does not light up and doesn't activate my trailer brakes. However, with the key off if you manually energize them the brake warning light comes on and chimes. I did notice some cut wires under the hood... And the recall looks to have been done for the brake switch, any help is greatly appreciated, more so hoping to get the cruise to work for my 4 hour trip tomorrow!!
I've had this golf cart for a while and it lost spark on me so I replaced the points, spark plug and condenser and gapped them to the factory spec, also played with the timing. It's back to having spark now but it'll only run for about 5 seconds then it can't be restarted for a few hours, I can see fuel coming out of the exhaust. Seems like it's flooding but how would it flood that fast and especially how it ran great before and I haven't messed with anything with the carburetor. Or it also seems like the spark is immediately getting very weak after those few seconds. Any ideas?
