Two hours ago I received new Pura 90 Pro with Harmony 7.0.0 from Hong Kong. Phone is absolutely beautiful but I have a few struggles. On initial selections I selected English as main language. If you check photos you will see many icons with Chinese labels. I guess those are default apps. Fine.

Howevrr main trouble is that I logged in Huawei Cloud. The very same I have on Pura 70 phone and MatePad 11.5S. There it works perfectly. Here it tells me that region is not supported!? I used the same regions as on other devices. I tried Canada. Croatia and Russia with the same result. By the way. This phone is Harmony. Tablet is Harmony and other phone is EMUI. Should not matter with Cloud, right? Any suggestions?

Hi there, I loaded Telegram X, like a light version. It loaded nicely but it doesn't work. See photos. It opens, I enter a phone number and next screen wants SMS code. That code never comes. Is there a way to make this work? Other people reported that Telegram is working on BB10.

Hi there, I am following procedure somebody posted on YouTube. He also posted a link of proper Chrome version because there are tonnes of those floating around. Follow the photos. First I installed Chrome V68.0.3440.91. It installs with no issues. Accept it and search page appears. Search for WhatsApp Web is immediately successful and after clicking a link I get a WhatsApp page where original poster suggests to click on 3 dots and selecting desktop site. It suppose to produce bar code which is a last step between connecting a BB and WhatsApp account that is active on other phone.

That last step fails and I get message that Chrome should be updated to Chrome V100+. Obviously clicking that fails to update anything since Chrome download server doesn't want or know how to do upgrade on BB10. Very frustrating. I tried Opera Mini, Kiwi browser, Firefox and some other browsers posted on BB sites. Most of them do not open at all. One is super slow and the rest don't connect to web version of WhatsApp at all. Any ideas? What I am doing wrong?

I bought this beauty two months ago and like everybody else faced lack of software from day one I inserted new SIM. Phone works, TXT messages work, I have 4 e-mail accounts up and running, notes, to do's, calendar and few other small things work. Battery is holding up for day and half. I am missing one single app to make this phone a daily phone and that is WhatsApp. I don't particularly like it but all my friends have it so I need it.

I have a company that has couple of programmers available. Now they are doing something else but I am toying with idea to engage them to do some development work on BB OS10. Mine is OS 10.3.3.3216. To make things short I strongly believe that best values BB brought to millions of users are privacy oriented OS, BBM, best keyboard in business, form factor, proper encryption, quality radio and more.

It seems that RIM totally abandoned BB project.

1. What do you think are there any legal problems if somebody would start developing software for OS10?

2. Would it be feasible to revive BB World in smaller scale and sell some software pieces for few Euros there?

3. Would it technically be possible to revive BBM using new server, replace encryption keys and make it functional again?

4. I guess by same token could be solved registration problem and persistent ID error that appears on my BB several times a day?

5. Server or servers involved could be physically located in some neutral jurisdiction or spread around the world similar to Bitcoin nodes.

I am convinced that using money and effort technical issues could be solved one by one and result be something like make Blackberry great again. At least practical to use again. I am totally sick and tired of Google and Apple dominance and privacy intrusions. I don't want to start losing battle but if there is a chance of success I would go into it. What do you think?

Hi there, I have a Nomad for about 2 years now, software 3.26.40. It is summertime and I read Kindle books every day. My problem is that after reading 10-15 pages it freezes and nothing can help. I close folio and page stays open. Long power press does nothing. Several presses in sequence do nothing. I have to close folio, wait for about 15 minutes. Then usually long press invokes shut down/reboot screen and it will wake up. It never loads Kindle page, but rather something I was looking at before I activated Kindle. When selecting Kindle again it never goes to last page but rather about 10 pages before.

Very frustrating. It was doing that from beginning but now it is like a rule that it will freeze. Other pages with notes and what not don't freeze. Suggestions?

Hi everybody. I got my Classic Q20 from Aliexpress about month ago. I also ordered new battery at the same time. Says high power with 3600 mAh. I replaced it immediately using supplied tools. Using power analyzer I can see between 2500 mAh and 2850 mAh being absorbed by the battery using original BB charger. See photos.

So my problem is that battery lasts only day, day and half with phone doing absolutely nothing. It sits on the shelf whole day. E-mails arrive whole day and SMS messages never. Nobody knows about my new number yet. If I remember correctly my old Classic lasted 3 days easily so this is confusing me. All apps are closed, I don’t call or answer mails yet. It is under trial run. It automatically switches to battery savings mode when juice drops to 20%, but anyway, I see that battery symbol in red too often and too early.

Do you have any suggestions? Model is SQC100-4 and OS 10.3.3.3216.

Hi there, I run into Lunar-Project.org and found a tons of promising software titles for my BB Classic (10). I am connected to BB using BB App Manager. Most apps are ZIP files and I understood that it enough to drop them into r/H window. Install starts every time but ends with error. I posted 2 errors when trying to install Opera Mini browser and Spotify.

Can anybody help? What is wrong in this procedure? My BB Classic is SQC100-4, OS 10.3.3.3216

I ordered BlackBerry Classic using Aliexpress. About 3 weeks later I got it. Very nicely wrapped up, screen protector, charger with cable, even SIM key. I would say that condition of the phone is 9 out of 10. I am very happy with it. Paid €66 and €12 for new battery. Take a look at photos.

Actual phone battery charged up. I got new SIM and phone is working. Then I exchanged battery where new one is declared at 3800 mAh. It is considerably more than factory supplied one. It came with small tools needed to exchange batteries. See photos.

Here is my first problem. I fully charge battery and it will last day and half tops. Overnight it dropped to 64%. Phone is doing absolutely nothing. I still keep it on the shelf not to using it at this time. I am using USB power flow adapter and you can see yourself that after charge it shows about 2500 mAh charged to the battery. After 3 times doing cycles it never reaches 3800 mAh. First thing that comes to mind is that Chinese grossly overstated capacity of new battery. Take a look at photo, it shows that after 5 hours of charging it pushed barely 2700 mAh. This is serious problem since I remember going 4 days with my BB without charging.

Second problem is that frequently I get message to finish setup. It’s annoying since it never completes. I have to search Internet for solution if there is one.

Third problem is that there is no app for WhatsApp. I still need damn thing because all my friends have it. So I go to browser and type https://web.whatsapp.com/mobile … and I get nothing!? Just a white screen. How’s that. Isn’t WEB site a WEB site and should open in browser?

Other than that a screen, typing experience, form factor is nice as ever. I would to reduce smart phone experience as much as possible and BB should do it perfectly.

Hi there, I ordered recently BB Classic and new battery from Aliexpress. Phone is still travelling but battery just showed up with accessories that you can see on this photo. Small tools are clearly to handle case opening but what are those two arrows foils for? Any ideas?
