I used to use Samsungs but switched to Huawei P50 Pro (Harmony OS 4.2) years ago and actually a bit relieved now.

Saw these 3 for sale individually on the likes of Vinted and eBay and they're all in good condition so fancied them. The P10 is my favourite, it's just so compact and cute! I know it looks like an older iPhone too with the home screen layout, I just like how it looks.

The brown on the Mate 10 Pro is gorgeous, it needs to make a comeback as a phone colour 🤎 It's also the fastest and most usable of the 3, not exactly quick by modern standards but the other 2 are a bit sluggish.

I have no use for them, I just wanted them for nostalgia but if you have any ideas on what I could do with them, feel free to comment!

Huawei once again shed light on its “HarmonyOS global expansion” plan. The company recently held a roundtable discussion with the media, where it revealed that the aim of bringing its self-developed operating system worldwide is still underway.

Richard Yu, the Executive Director, Chairman of the Investment Review Board, and Director of Huawei Consumer Business, recalled HarmonyOS’s growth to date.

The firm has expanded its in-house OS on a large scale, from using it in a series of products like phones, tablets, and wearables, to integrating it into PC and smart cars.

And now the plan is Huawei HarmonyOS global expansion. Richard said that the company is looking forward to expand its OS worldwide. Though this will take time.

“We are considering gradually bringing HarmonyOS to the global market in the future. That’s just our initial plan, though. We will do that slowly, step by step.”

HarmonyOS has now become another OS ecosystem after Apple iOS and Google Android, supporting all smart devices and hardware across all types of scenarios.

In addition, HarmonyOS helped the company to extend its supply chain in China, getting rid of US tech products. 2024 appeared as a major switch for Huawei in the OS category as it launched the Android-free HarmonyOS NEXT.

Since then, Huawei has continued to improve its software iteration in five core aspects: smoothness, security, intelligence, refinements, and connectivity. The development that kicked off in 2019 has reached a wide spectrum.

HarmonyOS ecosystem now has over 90 million devices, 450,000 apps and services, 11 million developers, and 23,000 app innovation partners. He added:

>“Developing an operating system is no easy task. There were previous attempts by other brands like Windows Phone from Microsoft, the bada OS from Samsung, and Symbian from Nokia. They were not successful. Even though we did it many years later, we have succeeded. I think this is certainly incredibly difficult to achieve.”

HarmonyOS native apps and ecosystem for global early adopters/enthusiasts imported Huawei devices (The list will be updated overtime)

Is there anyone here who uses a Huawei device and has made a purchase via AppGallery? If I buy a Huawei device, I wouldn't want to run into any errors in this regard.

Two hours ago I received new Pura 90 Pro with Harmony 7.0.0 from Hong Kong. Phone is absolutely beautiful but I have a few struggles. On initial selections I selected English as main language. If you check photos you will see many icons with Chinese labels. I guess those are default apps. Fine.

Howevrr main trouble is that I logged in Huawei Cloud. The very same I have on Pura 70 phone and MatePad 11.5S. There it works perfectly. Here it tells me that region is not supported!? I used the same regions as on other devices. I tried Canada. Croatia and Russia with the same result. By the way. This phone is Harmony. Tablet is Harmony and other phone is EMUI. Should not matter with Cloud, right? Any suggestions?

Acabo de comprar el reloj y hace 3 días hubo una actualización de Firmware Harmony 7.0.0.109

y desde ahí se reinicia cada 3 minutos.

Lo compré en la tienda oficial de Huawei en línea en México y ya sido todo una travesía para hacer válida mi garantía.

Estoy apenas en el primer paso donde se tuvo que mandar evidencia a un correo y llevo 3 días y no me contestan.

El centro de atención no me lo quiso cambiar que porque le corresponde al departamento de Venta en línea.

Ya hice todo borre la app, borre el caché, regrese a configuración de fábrica el reloj, lo volví a vincular.

Lo tengo conectado a un Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra

Alguien que me pueda ayudar, uno confía en la marca y su servicio al cliente es una mierda.
