Why I’m requesting r/stonetossingjuice and how I’ll run it: (fill in — follow r/redditrequest rules.)
The sun was hacked and the mod hacker was then banned, so the mod list is empty. I have a decade of modding experience across several subs including idubbbz, slightlychubby, and now peterexplainsthejoke. I would run the sub by enforcing the rules set in place by the previous mods along with any suggestions from the current community. I'd hope to foster a welcoming and thriving community of comic editors.
Replacement remote for a garage sale find
Hello all, I got my hands on a Minnie mouse rc air plane for my daughter. I didn't know it was RC when I bought it, but it had a battery cover, so I looked it up. The model # is 97115. I have found that the model 84694 has a replacement remote available on eBay. The remotes are identical except for the decal. Is there a way of knowing if that remote would work? Thanks in advance.
Oof, ouch, owie, my freedom
Also, why is he barefoot
I grew up in a very religious household, so I was only allowed to listen to explicitly christian music. This resulted in me digging deep into the world of underground and indie christian music to get as much music I could listen to as possible. I've been revisiting some of the artists I remember from when I was younger, seeing if they still make music and if they're still christian. I've found that a lot of these artists are not christian anymore, or at least, not in their music. Lots of them pivoted to very explicit, cliche riddled music.
One artist I know I've still seen in the christian music ecosystem was Bizzle. (I promise we'll get the the artist Todd mentioned soon.) Bizzle has this collective called God Over Money. I was scrolling their channel when I saw a name I recognized, but it took me a second to realize where I knew it from...
In Todd's worst of 2004 list, he mentioned an artist that is also incidentally a one hit wonder: Eamon. An artist whose biggest hit wasn't even that big (peaked at 16). It was a song with fuck right in the title (although parenthetically), and Todd mentioned other songs of his like "Get off my dick" and "I love them hos". Last person I'd expect to see on a channel called "God Over Money", but then again...
One of the other members in the GOM collective, Datin, did a song with fellow christian rapper MC Jin, and on the hook there he was: Eamon. I had to go look it up, but yes, the "fuck you, you ho" guy did the hook for a christian rap song that came out THIS YEAR. Song's not bad, honestly.
