It was a nice couple weeks without disconnects

So Devs just announced they're reverting some of the aspects of the Network Protocol which I presume means they're simply going back to TCP. For me personally I've had two incidents only related to Netcode ever since the change but I said goodbye to constant disconnects. Guess it's back to business starting today 😢 it feels like a change out of pure panic IMO

Was this a tad too much

To be clear it wasn't my intent to send it up until the very last moment in the initial braking phase when I noticed The Caddy braked a fraction earlier, I braked a fraction later and the gap was there. My only concern is that it does look like he MAY have had to take "Evasive Action". What do u guys think?

It was a very tough Split 1, very competitive.

What's wrong with the severs this evening!

Managed to JUST actually join a slot in the Spa Weekly, and now the menu is completely bugged, couldn't join a race at Monza, car list just doesn't load up, registered players, exit the game button doesn't do anything. For heaven's sake!

Full Course Yellow

I think it should be one of the major releases post 1.4. I don't know about a full SC but FCY with enforced speed limit and penalties should be the next step. Just got a race at Monza ruined by an idiot who failed to slow down for an accident at Ascari, rear ended me and sent me from P2 to P17 after the repair, and its not the first time. People see yellows and assume it means "Floor it! Free positions ahead"

Me and my team are done with LMU

3h 54mins into the race, all the way in P1, got disconnected with FIVE MINUTES to go! Then some entitled AH on their discord community support tells me to just submit a ticket and all will be fixed to which I told him numerous times I had already submitted a ticket three days ago and still haven't heard a beep. My teammates also submitted tickets and also didn't get a response. He has the nerve to then tell me well, I should just lay off LMU and play something else, then goes as far as kicking me and banning me from the LMU server because I said apparently the people responsible for the server side of thing must all wear t-shirts that say "We get paid for the attempt". Inacceptable. LMU will suffer the same fate as RF2. Shame because the sim it's self is amazing.

One of the best moves I think I'll ever pull

Kudos to the Toyota driver for racing hard but fair.

Here's just how unpredictable my game is

So this my experience with LMU so far. First time out before this, game straight up crashed while sitting P1 on the starting grid. Then this next race, again, same scinario only this time it just decided I should pay a quick visit to the main menu and then start from the pitlane instead of P2 in Split 1 cuz that's just better. And as u can see it didn't show high latency message, stream didn't lag or stutter or whatever, it simply dropped me from the grid.

It's THE ONLY game and/or sim I have problems with. iRacing, AC Evo, AC, Battlefield 4/5, COD and so on. I play all this from time to time and round the same time I would drive LMU when I wanna winde down and I face no client to sever connection issues whatsoever. It's so sensitive, so picky, so intolerant and it's just inacceptable. A software that has absolutely zero give, zero room for error.

Servers stability in critical state

To keep it short the new US packs coming up are all nice and well, but IMO the more pressing issue is the servers stability. Random disconnects are happening WAY too often and for no apparent reasons. Just now got sent straight back to the main menu on the starting grid on Paul Ricard so I went from pole to staring from the pit lane. Yesterday at Portemao weekly got disconnected INSTANTLY 50 mins into the race, was on for a podium. UKOG, a well known LMU streamer have had the issue numerous times on live stream. Something's gotta give.

Could I have done anything differently

How to win a 2h 40mins race from lap 1

Could have done ANYTHING differently?

My biggest issue with this is the badge system. It doesn't distinguish between hitting and being hit so, a string of three races like this and you get the ban for sure.

Some(A LOT) of people need to relearn starting procedure

Plain and simple; Dust, smoke and gaps dropping ahead at the start of a race don't mean Floor it! Free positions up ahead, for the love of God. It means proceed with caution, see what's happened, get through the first couple of corners and then Floor it! Starting P7 in LMP2 in Imola just now, a race totally and utterly destroyed and we didn't even make it past T1. And it was split 2 so supposedly it's all good and trusted drivers. IMO the badge system has made absolutely no difference whatsoever. Instead I think they should accelerate development of Live Steward and bring that in ASAP.

Laps Timing feels wrong

I can't be too sure but timing feels wrong. A couple days ago driving LMP2 at Spa I used to lap high 2:03 in the race and in Quali I was touching high 2:02.9. For the last three days I've been pracring HY for the first time ever since me and my team plan to do the 6 hours in HY also for the first time ever. Today I went back to some online racing in LMP2 and I'm more than a second off my previous times. Is it just thr effect of the coming back from Hypercars or is something glitching with the timings now cuz I'm litterally pushing as hard as I can and I look at the time and it's a 2:04 🫠

Seriously, what on earth are the devs doing! Navigating the game specially at peak hours is like navigating Windows 98 on a single core CPU socially thanks to how buggy the UI is since the last couple of updates. I sign up for a race at Fuji and I don't get a join even button, I have to jump through hoops, tabbing in and out of different tabs which again takes ages, by now the event has already started. Next thing the game now doesn't even see that I'm registered for the event and even says I now need a RaceControl account. I mean, what on earth is this BS! This is the type of things that require a hotfix, can't wait till the next update!
