After replaying the game, when you reject pierrot he says ‘dont make me devour you too’ this got me thinking..

Has anyone actually come to a conclusion where like.. what if columbina DIDNT like pierrot back? What if she actually did infact choose harlequin? Thats how it always goes right? The woman chooses the harlequin over the pierrot..

What if after columbina rejected pierrot, thats what triggered PIERROT to take a bite out of her? Who SAYS he disliked eating his ‘lover’?

We know pierrot as an obsessive, stalking monster. Who is gentle at times and often sweet. Yet we also know how different he acts when he gets turned down… different in a way where he gets scarily aggressive

I’m just saying.. but what if pierrot initiated the bite? If not.. what if harlequin ate or a took a bite out of Columbina to save her from pierrot?

If columbina and harlequin were the real couple, and in harlequins eyes, pierrot took her away from him. Would it make sense that the way harlequin acts to mc and pierrot is more like a “I’ll take away what’s yours like you took what’s mine.”

*it is canon that pierrot hesitates when eating columbina, but we just dont know whether it because he was sad that she’s passed, or whether he was sad because he never got to fully embrace her as a lover.

Pierrot could possibly be struggling with survivor’s guilt

*it is canon. We know, following the puppet story that columbina is mentioned to have her heart beat a different type of way around harlequin compared to other members, such as pierrot but just never fully accepts harlequin as a lover.

Perhaps not in public?

How does this tie in with columbina’s story? When she says ‘thank you for saving me’ save her from what? From who exactly?

Random fact I learned about Pierrot not long ago

In a tfc AMA video, it was brought up once whether pierrot would ever consider eating, or be in a situation that would make him devour the MC

Pierrot rejects, declines, and persists that he would never, asking where MC got such the idea from!

In game, there was a route you could go down where Pierrot says a line that sounds something like this ‘don’t make me devour you my dear’

This confused me somewhat, it was contradictory.. so then I dug a little.. and ta-da! I found some information

Well! Turns out Pierrot “blurs feelings and senses”. Sometimes he confuses himself and is torn between holding, claiming or devouring the MC

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but would it be a bold assumption to make that, since what triggers that scene is the fact that you refuse to come back to the circus to see pierrot the next day, that could be what triggers him to have the urge to eat MC? Rejection? What do you guys think?

Edit: neko mentioned that ‘when pierrot stared at mc for too long’ thats what he starts to feel or have blurred lines.. not sure if that makes a difference but ill leave this here anyway! Its the only piece of information I found so far that links the two media

It is implied (repeatedly) from the creator in tumblr and their posts that pierrot will always wait for the mc, and go at their pace, no matter what

For instance, a person asked something along the lines of: “Pierrot, if mc were to kiss you on the cheek one day, and got too shy to hold hands with you the next, would you be bothered/wait/annoyed?’ And “Pierrot, if mc took a long time to get close, even if it was months, would you wait for mc?” And both times ( +even more that i havent mentioned ) pierrot responded affirmatively and positively that he can wait and would go with mc’s pace..

*note that yes neko mentions that sometimes his answers in AMA posts aren’t canon, he changed that not long ago to make it so that only definite/confirmed facts will be added, so this isn’t the case of switching character personalities later, from what i know

Yet in the game, if you choose to not return to the circus to pierrot the next day, he’ll drug you with a cake he baked, tying you etc

Can anyone explain this or understand this at all? Its counteractive and I am lost

is it the fact that if MC doesn’t see pierrot in a romantic light, that causes him to go stalker mode/yandere mode? Not the fact that mc needs time?

Edit: from what Ive gathered, it seems whenever mc pulls away, even if its just a little, he tends to freak out or changes his personality on the go. This screams heavy anxious style attachment lol! This opens up questions like would pierrot be the type to ask ‘do you love me?’ ‘Would you love me if i were a worm’ .. but then again he isnt inherently insecure, he seems more like the type to reach out to you in the middle of the night if he has a nightmare, or the type that texts you over a mild inconvenience throughout his day

Edit 3: this makes me wonder even more, we know that if we reject pierrot’s advances, he starts to get aggressive
Is it more due to the fact that, he knows if you don’t co-operate, you’ll most likely die? Hence why (almost) every time he goes ‘psycho’ he always uses the defense of him ‘protecting you’ ? Is it truly only the case of ‘ I love you so much nobody else can have you ‘ alone? I personally believe his reactions got amplified by his past, or afraid of reliving his past..

I am a little lost, it’s my first day playing and I just found out about this game yesterday

How many secret scenes are there?

I’ve searched up and looked for endings, but it usually ends with the mc going home and nothing special happens.

Are there actually different endings? Or just different scenarios that can play out for now? Can someone clarify?

Edit: yes im aware that there is another ending where the mc dies if they ignore pierrot at the beginning, but besides that, is there anything else?
