Barbarian Stat Stick question.

If its not obvious, a stat stick are the barbs other equipped weapons, but not in use/used. Such as when using the Hammer of the Ancients skill, you will be using your 2h bludgeon weapon, which means your two 1h weapons, and the 2h sharp weapon are stat sticks. They apply rolled stats to your skill use and attacks, even if they arent being used.

So anyway, question. Does weapon damage on stat sticks apply to skill use damage? If I have GA weapon damage on my 2h axe/sword/polearm, does it apply to my damage when using HotA(2h mace attack)? If I have GA weapon damage on my 2h mace, and my 2h axe, do those add to my damage when I use Frenzy(dual wield attack)?

Sorc Build are severely underwhelming

This honestly might be an issue of the game, not the players, but I haunted the maxroll site for some builds to play. I have the standard whirly barb and minion necro, made a companion druid and recently got a warlock I'm working on, but I was thinking about trying the Sorc. So I peruse the end game builds for Sorc. And I notice something.

Ball Lightning sorc. Uses Unstable Currents. Makes sense, its a lightning build, I guess.

Charged Bolts, also lightning, also Unstable Currents. Again, making some sense here.

Ice Shard Sorc. Unstable Currents? It has a Lightning variation? Ok...I guess?

Blizzard Sorc. Tried and True, Old school and new. And it has...Unstable Currents. Why? Oh, It too has a lightning variant? Why the hell not.

Firewall Sorc! ... has Unstable Currents...

At this point, cant we just call this class the Unstable Current class? Is there any decent build that doesnt rely on it?

They all use Rainment of the Infinite. They all use Fractured Winterglass. They all use Tal Rash's Threefold.

Is it really a bunch of different builds? Or is it just Tal Rasha with a fake mustache spamming Unstable Currents? Dont even get me started in like 95% of builds using the Heir of Perdition helm across all classes. Hell even their version of the minion necro uses it! To hell with that, I'm sticking to the Undercrown!
