Stay with dumbed down smartphone or go to dumb phone primary with secondary smartphone

I'm still rolling with a Pixel 7 and honestly it's still doing well. On low use days, I can go 2 days no problem. On higher use days I'm still ending the day around 40% battery. With the 11 series around the corner, I am considering moving up or taking one of the fantastic deals on a 10 pro. I realize I'm on the dumb phone sub but I am also very seriously considering going back to a dumb phone or something like the Clicks Communicator. I mainly use my phone for audio listening, maps, MFA, and camera. I do use social media but am actively trying to use it less. I like a lot of the smart features on Pixel but think they're way over doing things with AI and have been turning off as many as I can. So all that begs the question, what things am I not thinking about in considering my next phone? I have considered the dumb phone primary with smart phone secondary but am not sure and looking for some opinions. For what it's worth I'm in North America and on Verizon.

Why do all retirement rollovers suck?

I've been in a several month long process trying to roll all 3 of my retirements into my current retirement. One only operates via phone but never picks up, one can only do electronic rollovers, one will only cut a check, one only takes paper forms mailed in. This is so aggravating. Anyone have any tips?

So for our first child, we got the basic gray diaper bag from Amazon that EVERYONE has. If you're a parent, you've seen it. We hated every second of using it.

For kid #2, my wife found this very expensive purpose built diaper bag that crucially had side zippers with Velcro shelves built in. (See where this is going?)

So I say "hey, ya know, we can get this cool backpack that has the side zippers with Velcro shelves, use it for years after we no longer need a diaper bag, AND save money". Whaddya know, we are now the proud owners of an Everyday 20L in Ocean.
