Need some help about unlinking my Nintendo Network ID from my account

I recently emailed nintendo since I need to update some stuff with my account, and they mailed me back telling me that for this to happen, I gotta unlink the Nintendo Network ID from my account, so I was wondering...

Is it safe to unlink that?

Or I will be losing something by doing so?

Any help will be appreciated!

I have been here since the JWE1 days, so I have seen every bad situation that happened since then, and like everyone else, I'm also terribly upset with Frontier right now, especially since they could have handled this situation in a much better way, since announcing stuff at the last minute of the month is fucked up, BUT I'm not here to rant about that...

I'm just seriously disappointed by how terribly toxic this sub ended up being, compared to its earliest periods.

I have seen lots of shit in this sub lately, and no matter which side of the argument you take... you are bound to receive toxic comments and reactions, and all of this is just bullshit.

You are FAIRLY criticizing frontier for what happened with their radio silence, and for how they handled this entire situation at the last minute?

Boom, you either have peoples throwing shit and names at you, or trying to invalidate your point, which came from a fair and actual ctitic, which is just depressing.

You are still happy with the game, currently enjoying it, or even theorizing what might have lead to this radio silence or other stuff?

Boom, you get insulted for simply having fun with the game, or you get shit thrown at you while getting called a bootlicker for simply theorizing on what might have lead Frontier to stay silent.

No matter if you take on side or the other, acting this toxic towards the other party IS NOT an actual form of critic, and that's definitely the last thing we need as of now.

I'm just terribly disappointed by what this subreddit turned into, as someone that enjoyed being in here since the 2018 JWE1 days.
