I think rcbs success started when they tried out captaincy outside kohli, they tried with du plesis with 2 yrs where they reached playoffs back to back but still dropped him since they were hungry for championship than playoffs. We should learn from them. We gave rutu enough time for his captaincy but he failed as a captain and as a player. We should move on how rcb moved on from the captain who took them to back to back playoffs to a captain who took them to back to back championship. It's the hunger that made them.

Our management should also show it rather than defending rutu and playing victim roles of injuries. A captain like msd,rohit etc can be backed for many yrs as they showed their captaincy skills in intial 1or 2 or 3yrs. We can't still defend rutu who is not even a player of ict by telling his good season in 2022 and 2021.Its like defending prithvi shaw for what he has done back in the day. The toxic positivity should change and we should be ready for changes

I actually felt happy see todays batting than the batting we did in first match against gt.

Reason- Many of the batters showed intend like tuku, dube, short etc. Even it felt like they did it for their high purse retention for the nxt yr in the last game but i felt there was non stop aggressive batting like srh way of batting. This is what we need for big 2026.

We would have won one or two matches more if we played like this. Rutus today's innings was better than 50 ball 60 against gt in the first match. Today's innings showed how a out of form batter should play in today's t20 era. If it's small, it should be imapactful without wasting balls and max utilizing pp. It may be bc he doesn't have the pressure for winning today.

But his captaincy was very below par. So he atleast remove himself from captaincy and focus on improving his batting style according to new t20 style like kohli and rahul did.

Also I will never forget tukus selfish approach of being the opener for 13 games and destroyed nearly every pp without moving to no3 when it actually mattered. Dubey is no less, his pathetic fielding and legs glued to crease type of batting is overated.
