Day #4 of posting until I work for myself.....

Today's ring was a little more complex than yesterday's as I'm practicing my basics again before jumping back into jewelry creation again.

This one contains a Sunstone just over 1ct set in a diamond setting. I then crossed the arms over to highlight the stone and to hide the arms that actually secure the stone a little better.

I do wish I would have given the inner arms a spiral pattern before securing but thats next time!

Day 3 of wrapping until I work for myself.....

I went back to some basics tonight to help get the muscle memory flowing and man do I love this one!

This is a size 6.5 with a raw sunstone, naturally sand polished by the wind of the Oregon Outback, wrapped in copper.

I call this a floating setting. It allows you to view the stone from all sides while keeping it tightly in place.

New WIP Agate Tree of Life

Another WIP here in the lab! I'm just playing around as I'm getting back into making jewelry.

I found this golden agate in a jar of polished stones my son gave me and it screamed at me it was a tree trunk.

What actually came out was more of a wizened truck twisting around a magical guide stone.

I think I may fill the gap at the top of the coil with a clear sunstone to portray the moon.

What do you think? What would you add?

Found in Oregon Dispensary

I'm a sales rep in Oregon and one of my dispensary partners has the most fun with their shop dog. When I saw this sticker I about died and then had to explain DCC.

I won't explain much to not spoil too much, but #iykyk!

It's been a minute..

I haven't made anything in months and decided that I would just jump back into things with a bang!

My companies logo is an owl head. So, I used a video by Nicole Cheny as inspiration and made my first ever owl head pendant!

I learned a lot from this one. I didn't have the right gauge for the horns, my wire for the back frame was FAR too soft, and I need to work on the setting for the glass eyes.

The eyes we difficult because they aren't uniform, they are hand harvested sea glass and I could only do my best to get roughly the same diameter and they're not faceted so the wrap wasn't easy to do.

Anyway, wanted to share some of my new art!
