Help me understand "Power vs Condi"

I cannot wrap my head around this. People keep telling me there are condi fights and there are power fights when I am doing my fractals. I just play power the entire time and usually have no issues. But some players get upset for some reason, and when I ask the difference, they will tell me, "conditions continue while the boss is moving" or "conditions continue while mechanics happen" but when those moments happen and I can't attack, they just catch up to my already higher DPS. The only exception I have been able to see is that power builds might have abilities that require attacking, but they buff your attacks instead of being an attack itself (think nightmare weapon), and if a boss goes immune during that or you can't hit it, then they will time out and you lose the dps. Is that really the only exceptions? Am I misunderstanding?

AITA for watching a TV show without my girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I are watching a TV show together. She has watched the show multiple times. Early on, I asked her if it was okay if I watched a few episodes by myself without watching them with her. She said she was okay with that.

A week later, I watched a few episodes by myself. I told her that I watched them, and she was okay with that. She was happy that I was enjoying the show since it was one of her favorites.

A few more weeks go by, and we are on the final season of the show. I watched a few more episodes by myself. When I told her this time I watched them, she got very upset with me. I reminded her how she told me I could watch a few episodes by myself. She said it doesn't matter and that I am being inconsiderate and mean for watching the episodes without her because it is the final season. I apologized to her for hurting her feelings and told her I would not watch anymore episodes without her. She still refuses to watch the show and says she wants me to apologize for being inconsiderate and mean. I told her I am not apologizing because I wasn't inconsiderate or mean; she gave me explicit permission to watch episodes without her.

From her perspective, I watched episodes in the final season without her.

From my perspective, she told me I could watch episodes without her in the past and was fine with it when I did.

AITA?
