I just realized Coyote basically takes care/feeds the Roadrunner daily

No wonder the Roadrunner likes him so much. Coyote is constantly leaving free bird seed for him, and roadie also thinks they are playing. Coyote is basically his owner

These 2 have helped me through depression

I was in a really dark moment in my life, battling depression, when I decided to play the N Sane Trilogy. Though sometimes the difficulty was kind of annoying, I had fun. But what really motivated me to completing the 3 games was the fact that I fell in love with both Crash and Cortex. There was something about seeing Crash facing any challenge with a smile, and being so unapologetically himself, that caught my eye. I like how in the second game he just trusts Cortex without a care in the world, only to just accept it when it is "revealed" that Cortex fooled him. Loved how Crash faces any obstacle just by spinning, no need to overcomplicate life, as someone who has been mocked for my intelligence all my life, I like how Crash doesn't care and just solves problems with confidence and being himself, without putting any thought into it, why would he? And about Cortex, by the time I reached the third game and he wasn't even trying anymore, I felt that. I feel like Cortex basically giving up in the third game is kind of inspiring, maybe being a villain isn't for him, he just wants to retire, he doesn't owe anyone anything, not Uka Uka, not anyone. Some might say he has wasted time and effort, but maybe he has realised that this isn't the life he wants

May I ask why didn't this movie get the love Coyote vs Acme is getting?

I know you guys in this sub probably watched this one when it came out, but I feel like a lot of people are only watching Coyote vs Acme because of the controversy that surrounded it. If it wasn't for the internet movement, they wouldn't be watching it, as they didn't watch TDTEBU, where were they when that movie needed them? Don't get me wrong I'm happy that Looney Tunes is getting the love it deserves, I'm just calling out some people that are larping as Looney Tunes fans

Edit: I'm now seeing in the comments that a lot of you have switched up on this movie, damn. Until Coyote came it was considered the best looney tunes movie here

Which Batman villains could Alfred beat hand to hand?

I think if there are no weapons involved, Alfred could beat Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Two Face, Mr Freeze without his suit, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Firefly, Victor Zsasz, Professor Pyg, Killer Moth, Anarky, Calendar Man, Harley Quinn and many more

Sorry but in the novel how do characters remember EVERYTHING?

As you know, the original Dracula novel is basically a collection of the mains characters diaries, and maybe some newspaper articles. The thing is, the characters are able to write down whole conversations they had with other people, and these are not short. They remember every single thing they said, and was said to them. This is a little bit funny to me, I of course could never remember things like that, and don't know anyone who could. This is not that important for the story and doesn't affect the books quality at all, but still interesting. Maybe people had a better memory back then?

Why isn't Bane potrayed as being hairy anymore?

It's not only in comics, but in media in general they don't give him body hair, when in his debut he had a lot. Even in the new movie based on knightfall, he doesn't have any. Do you prefer Bane having body hair or not?

Sometimes I think Boris Karloff is handsome as Frankenstein

Idk if I'm about to get down voted but in the first movies I think Boris Karloff looks prettier as Frankenstein than let's say as the Mummy. If you forget about the movie itself (him playing a corpse), the way he talks, walks and about the gigantic forehead, if you look at some scenes where he actually opens his eyes more or smiles, I don't think he is ugly at all. For example would you say the actress for the Bride is ugly when she is playing the character? That's what I'm trying to say. He has this sort of Erling Haaland vibe to him, Boris Karloff looks good being this tall. Just imagine him being a football player or a singer, he would have many fangirls

When Dracula becomes young in the novel, does he look handsome or is he still...ugly?

I think we could all agree that old Dracula in the novel is not a good looking man. However there's a point where he starts to look younger because of all the blood he's consumed. When he makes this change, Mina describes his face as sensual but at the same time as cruel and straight up "not a good face". Maybe it's not a or b, he is not pretty nor ugly, his looks just stand out (probably because of the red lips and eyes, and the animalistic fangs). Maybe Bram Stoker wanted to give him sort of a foreign look?

Do you think Dracula is depressed in the novel?

I may be about to ask something stupid. But do you think that the Dracula from the novel might be depressed/sad? Let's think about this, the only time he seems to be genuinely happy is when he is feeding (of course), or when he is talking about his past glory and victories in wars... He doesn't have servants in the castle like he used to, he now has to cook for this man (Johnathan) and make his bed, I suppose that MIGHT be a little humiliating for him? The movie "Shadow of the Vampire" makes a good case about this. He is of course lonely, he seemed to genuinely enjoy talking to Johnathan. The closest thing he has to a family is what people call "the brides", does he care about them? Of course he feeds them, and it's implied that he used to love them, does he still love them? Does he care about his wolves? Of course he is absolutely evil and apparently enjoyed being an asshole to Johnathan in the castle, but I suppose that was a rare opportunity for him and doesn't do that often because of his limited human interaction. This all seems to point to a really empty eternal life, is that why he tried to move to London...? So do you think that he is actually depressed? If I'm absolutely wrong then don't sugarcoat it and tell me, maybe he is having a blast being evil and loves every minute of it, but I sometimes got the impression that he is miserable, is he?

Why didn't Batman's antidote against vampirism work on Dracula? And did Batman have a problem with killing him?

In the movie Batman vs Dracula, Batman had developed a cure to vampirism that we see can reverse the effects on vampires, turning them into regular humans. But when Alfred tries it on Dracula, it doesn't work, why is that? Also at the end, Batman straight up kills Dracula, I understand why Batman can kill characters like Solomon Grundy, as they come back to life. However, Batman refuses to kill immortal villains like Ras Al Ghul, why not Dracula?

What would they think of eachother?

So basically if Universals classic Dracula met 1922 Count Orlok. Would they respect eachother? Would Dracula think Nosferatu has no class? Would Dracula be okay with Orlok spreading the bubonic plague? Would Dracula think Nosferatu is dumb? Would Nosferatu think Dracula is a softie? Do they see eachother as competition?

Why did Renfield go mad in the novel?

What is his origin? Also... What does he look like? What did he do for a living before going to the asylum and why did he end up there

u/Zealousideal_Peak901 — 3 months ago

Did any scene in the classic Universal Monster films genuinely scare or disturb you?

For me it's these scenes:

When Renfield approaches the unconscious maid

When the security guard catches the mummy at the museum

When Pretorius assistant kills a random woman to get a fresh heart

How would you rank the Universal Monsters from least evil to most?

My ranking from least to most would be:

  1. The Bride: I don't even think it's fair to put her here, she didn't do anything wrong

  2. Frankensteins monster: he's not even evil, he was literally born days ago and all he knows is abuse, he has shown to have a noble and loyal heart for those that show him any kind of love. Yes he has done some bad things, but can you blame him?

  3. The Creature From The Black Lagoon: if you watch the movie, you'll notice that the humans are the ones who attack him first, after invading his home of course. Sure at the end he tries to kidnap the girl, but after he does it successfully he doesn't do anything to her, he's the last of his species and he feels lonely

  4. The Metalunans: they are just a desperate civilization taking desperate measures, even if it's not right, I wouldn't define them as evil

  5. The Wolfman: I'm not counting the human he is at daytime, but the creature itself that he turns into at night, since they are different beings. Anyways he is just an animal following his instincts, even though he is very violent

  6. The Mummy: You can have some sympathy for him, but none of what he is doing has justification

  7. The Phantom of The Opera: same case with The Mummy, but more extreme

  8. The Invisible Man: someone lock this absolute psycho up and throw away the key

  9. Dracula: is anyone surprised? Someone should put this absolute monster out of his misery

So why did they make this song?

First of all, Elmer Fudd is basically a cameo in The Looney Tunes Show, he's not even a character. But they decide to give him a song? And it's about how he enjoys grilled cheese sandwiches a little too much...? Why???

Why grilled cheese? He obviously never mentioned grilled cheese in the classic cartoons or anywhere else, before or after this song. This might be the most random thing I've ever seen. If you are gonna give a song to Elmer (who again, is just a cameo in this show, wtf), why not make it about hunting, about how he hates Bugs Bunny or maybe about his speech impediment? Why about how he is obsessed with grilled cheese sandwiches? Did someone at WB thought this was hilarious? How did the animators and the actor who sings feel about this?

My friend sent me this and told me it's an enemy from the new game

As the title says, I have played Star Fox 64 and I don't remember an enemy or boss like this. But also I have no idea what the heck this is and of course I can't find anything. I believe my friend is toying with me but he won't tell me, but if this is really from the new game who or what the heck is this?
