I got into anime because of mecha (Mobile Suit Gundam to be specific), and I've been trying to watch other mecha shows, right now I'm watching Patlabor and I wanna watch Macross after that, so what order should I watch everything in.

also I have two questions:

Are there alternate timelines like in Gundam or is it one concurrent thing?

How dark does Macross get? Please don't spoil anything specific, just say something like "little to no characters die" if it's not dark or if it gets really dark just say something like "a lot of characters die", I prefer darker media but I'm okay if it's more lighthearted

Thanks in advance!

I love the Marchosias so much, and I want to get a kit of it. the problem is that it's more than 4x the price almost everywhere I can find it, so is there an alternative that is close to the Marchosias? is there a good place to find it? please help a fellow Gundam fan out

wow. just wow. I did get a spoiler one accident about Orga's death but even then I was still caught super off guard by it, the ending was really good, not super happy but not as sad of an ending as War in the Pocket. Iok's death was SO DANG SATISFYING! I personally hated Jasley more as a character, but I still loved Iok's death. The final battle was the best fight scene I have seen in my LIFE. the MS design is probably the best in all of Gundam, even the grunt suits stand out with how good they look, and then there's the custom upgraded versions of the Grunt suits like the Graze Ein, which are also peak, and don't even get me started on the Gundams! all of them were so cool! also where is the Grimgerde's screen time? I want more! the characters were also super interesting and I think they handled the character development very well, even the episodes where there was zero fighting were still peak because of how good they were able to do character development.

overall rating: 10/10, it's going right up there with Gundam 00 in my personal ranking

also the best MS in the show is the Gusion Rebake Full City
