Cafes/ cowork spaces/ work-friendly hotels near the airport?

Hello to the warm people of this beautiful country!

I’m a tourist that’s flying out from Colombo tomorrow. I have a shuttle from Kandy to Colombo airport reserved for 8:30 AM, but my flight’s only at night so I have lots of time to kill from about noon. I could really use a few hours of work on some deadlines, and would need a relaxed environment with a decent WiFi connection (maybe 10mbps at least). Any recommendations? It doesn’t strictly have to be near the airport, but that would save me some back and forth. I’m thinking cafes or cowork spaces or similar where I can buy food and coffee from time to time but where there’s no pressure to keep buying things to justify my stay. It’s ok if the place is a bit pricey, just need a good spot. I guess they won’t allow me into the airport so early?

Can’t wait to visit again!!

Stressed about the census please help.

Hiya! I’m a newish permanent resident (since 2023) and it’s my first time dealing with this. I’m away from home on holiday and suddenly read something about a census and it being due today??? My situation is a bit different because I currently live in an Airbnb, and have been since March. I do plan on staying long term and the landlord even offered me a standard lease once I get the money for the first and last month saved. The house is three self contained “units” that share a laundry and basically nothing else except the driveway, furnace etc. Separate kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms etc. It’s a house in the suburbs. I have no idea whether we’ve received three forms or 1, I’m not super close to my “flatmates” and they haven’t contacted me about it at all. It’s a 3 week holiday and I didn’t think I’d have to let anyone know, but I’ve texted one tenant that I have a contact for and the landlord about it, yet to hear back. I read online May 12 isn’t a strict “cutoff” and we get reminders and even census workers coming by till mid July. I’ll be back in Toronto on the 21st of May, can I postpone this freak out till then? I read there’s legal penalties and I seriously worry about so much as jaywalking. I got the secure code off the website, but I’m unsure if me filling it out solo is also a problem in case it’s meant to just be one form for all of us.

Essentially I’d love an opinion on how the census works for Airbnb dwellers, and whether there’s a form waiting for me specifically in the mailbox (like do they address it to me by name or just send them to individual addresses)? If it’s to me by name do they use my CRA address (updated), my photo/ health card address (which has my old address that I’m yet to update as I wasn’t sure I’d stay) etc. Can this wait till the 21st of May? Am I ok to fill out mine separately online? On the census website my address popped up without me entering any sort of unit numbers etc, does that indicate that it’s one “household”? So sorry if this sounds ridiculous, and thank you in advance!

Update : we haven’t received one in the mail and the landlord just said check the mailbox lol.
