Hello! So I’m due to do my placement next week.

I know what I’m doing, I know the procedure how to do everything correctly but everytime in class I did a venipuncture my hands would shake uncontrollably. I haven’t been in class( finished everything but placement ) for almost 6 months and having to postpone my placement due to illness

How do I get these shakes under control? Will my training supervisor be understanding ? The hardest part for me is popping on the tube while using a Vacutainer and removing it.

Worried how I’ll ever do well in my future career 😩

I did find that my shakes got better each week while practicing but like I said it’s been so long since I’ve done it.

Hello! So I have been on amitriptyline 50mg for over 2 years which I used for anxiety/depression.
Now I am having bladder issues the doctor wants me to try 75mg to see if it helps with urgency.

Has anyone had a similar situation to this and found going higher than their normal dose helped?

So I was diagnosed with chlamydia April, and after I finished my medication and tested clear for std month I was in emergency with very painful urethral pain, weeing every 5 minutes after finishing 14 days of doxy and Azithromycin for pid, and they told me to have another round of doxycycline and azithromycin and I felt better after day 12, exactly two weeks after finishing that I am having the same urethral pain and urgency, I’ve been eating buttered toast and water for the last 3 days with no real change. I haven’t even been diagnosed with IC but I’m wondering if this sounds like a typical flare up?

I’ve ever had any real uti issues before this or-bladder problems. Ive had ct scans clear, all
Urine tests, ultrasounds clear but I’m in alot of pain my doctor has no idea what’s going on. We swabbed for m-gen just incase

Hey everyone,

I did a post about being in severe pain at hospital and diagnosed with IC.

They sent me home with some endone, buscopan, non steroidal anti inflammatory and Panadol. It’s been 2 days since I’ve been home and I’m taking it very easy, I’d say about 70% better after the pain management plan they’ve Said. Has anyone had the same situation, how long does it take to recover from a flare completely.

I’m a single mum and this can’t be my life

On going severe bladder and urination pain
Body shakes no infection, nothing showing in my bloods.

I am in severe pain and needing 6 hourly endone to get me through. I was diagnosed in March with chlamydia, PID and now the. This has been going on for almost 3 days, I can’t look after my kids.

They have said itis likely IC and i can’t see how I’m supposed to go home being in this much pain? I did early today and I ended right back into ED with severe pain.

Anyone been in the same situation? Will it get better? What the heck do I do

Hello, I’m 36, about 5 weeks ago I was diagnosed with chlamydia in hospital after a severe amount of stomach pain and cramping (pelvic inflammatory disease), took my antibiotics for 14 days and after finishing them, a few days later my symptoms came back, urinary urgency, tenderness stomach pain. Went back to hospital yesterday and they diagnosed me with pid infection again even though chlamydia had cleared. Another 14 days of doxy and metronidazole.

How long should I expect this horrible uncomfortableness to last. Ive had ultrasounds and bloods and everything looks fine. Pain is a 4/10 constantly.

Anyone been in the same situation? Did it clear after the second lot of antibiotics. I just want to feel normal again :(
