Im going to make it simple to not make a wall text since I lost what I was typing at first:
My 1TB Seagate Hard drive was working fine while sending /copying images and videos from my iPhone on my computer, took a 30 minutes break away from the computer (I did not turn it off), after that, I added some images to the drive and see if it gives me the “files already there” notice to know which folder i am already in, takes FOREVER to do something, I cancel it, does not work and freezes, the hard drive makes a faint beeping sound from time to time, I unplug it and replug it, the sound stops completely, but now when I keep sending the images, it takes slightly longer, or does not want to send the whole folder with all the images (and it does not tell me and once literally just copied the folder only and did not sent me any files at all…) unless I do it by parts, which it makes the process a little annoying now.
Is it some signal that hard drive starting to fail from the beep or it’s just not liking to be forcefully put my (presumably) over 60 gb of images and videos now? I am sending everything from my iPhone to hard drive by the way, with the help of the computer.
