Yuji itadori beginner cosplay
Im 13 and trying to make yujis full arm gauntlet from jjk to wear to school (maybe cosplaying can be a hobbie if it turns out good) but honestly I am completely clueless on what to do or where to even start. And I fear I might be too late to do anything.
I already tried to sew the glove part for the first time and it was solid red and I tried to hot glue those bumps on the hand but it look really messy. the moment I moved my hand the seams completely pulled apart.
the biggest thing is it HAS to be flexible. it needs to go from my hands to my forearm but i need to be able to move my fingers and arms freely so i can open my locker and write at school. and nothing too comfortable where it looks loose or baggy, I want it to look tight and right like his arm actually does.
My mom proposed some ideas:
- buying it online: my mom is fine with buying a pair online but i don’t think it’s a good idea cause it’s expensive.
- buying a 3d printer: my mom is fine with buying a 3d printer but i feel like it’s actually harder to figure out as a beginner but I dunno . (With all of the 3d modeling, slicing, and scaling)
What I have/What I tried:
- using the library: i contacted the my library in cause they have 3d printers . i found a file online ( Cant send a link to it) but they said they cant help much.
- cardboard: I don’t have EVA (I have those thick foams you get in packages) but I have a lot of cardboard boxes and some fabric (im not the best at hand sewing again ).
I am completely lost on how to start this or what choices to pick. what should i do? Or get, any tips?
(also my first time on Reddit)
