random but I've been watching their vlogs again lately and love their content. Clintus and Tiffani have a family (Sierra and Bryce), and Christy and Jack (Mason)...Honestly, solid content even as their kids have become adults.
Nothing controversial to say, they seem to have a wholesome, real family. Kids in college and being on the internet in their own allowances! Very cool family
I'm laid up post knee surgery and have done a deep dive into Shaytard/Butler Christmas vlogs. I'm sorry y'all they're just extremely nostalgic for me
Anyways, possible obvious obvservation here...I never watched much of Casey & Kayli vlogs. But honestly, after watching hours worth of Christmas vlogs of Shay screaming at the camera or doing something irratic, Casey's vlogs seem so much more genuine (I was watching Christmas Eve vlog 2016)! No loud persona from either of them, no goofy voices and joke trying to be pushed. They seem...Normal? Not just doing it for show?? You can see Shay in the background of Casey's vlogs being totally normal...I'm grossed out by the persona he puts on on camera
Have said this before, but Kayli (and ofc Casey) have raised their children normally and wonderfully, as we even see in these old vlogs. I don't know much about the current opinion of Casey (hunting for months and leaving Kayli alone with the kids...) but he's a much better man than Shay.
Again, was watching Casey's vlog from Christmas 2016...They spent the morning buying Christmas for a family (Casey's money) and then hosted their cousin Tyler (?, the one with addition issues) for Christmas and gifted him a pair of skis. Casey fed meat scraps to all four dogs spending time at the house that night. How genuinely wonderful of them....
For example - 2010 Christmas Shaytards special...Casey's just holding rocktard, playing with his presents and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He actually holds Rocktard alot in the vlogs. Haven't seen Shay act genuinly interested towards Brailee, Gage, etc. once.
Shay is gross, Casey is great, Kayli is phenonmenoul.
Anyone who knows the show have any idea what they have her doing? Rose seems so shy for Broadway… I can’t imagine her doing anything remotely close to what Midge did in Chicago.

okay so Ryan is obviously Baylen's GF's little brother...He and his family have been on YouTube for years. He's currently in college at USF (I think going into junior year)..Whatever, the kid never seems to actually be at school (always jetting off somewhere on the weekends etc.)
I always wondered what Ryan would do for a career...He loves golf, I figured maybe a PGA Professional Instructor. But what I've been noticing is that he's been in alot of content with Baylen and his friends..And just spending alot of time with him in general (Chicago trip)...Do we think Ryan is being recurited/influenced to become a trashy content creator who lives with them post grad?? IDK, i'm surprised and disappointed if that were to happen. Doesn't seem like Mike and Jill Donnelly would be big fans of that.
IDK I have negative feelings about the whole thing. For us It's the Donnellys watchers, we all know Ryan is annoying attention seeker. I'd hate to see him get even more annoying by going into this line of work

Okay....I live in the NYC area and I keep getting Instagram ads to sign up for the LA 2028 ticket draw because they're playing a few soccer games in NYC. I'm in the registration draw and haven't gotten any emails that I was chosen. Not chosen for last draw, and don't think chosen for this one either.
Major bucket list item for me, I WILL be going. But if I don't get the $28 tickets through registration, I can still buy tickets right? I just need a game plan because I must be there to see the USWNT play in the Olympics. I wanna keep an eye out starting like now

I'll admit, I do like to go back and watch old Shayloss videos here and there...They were so fun with Rawn, Logan, etc. working out in Cali, training for marathons, etc.
I watched Brock's 16th birthday vlog...And I'm not exactly judging what people eat. That's personal and their business even if they show it on video. What I do think is fascinating is the complete 180 from those Shayloss days.
They don't talk about health or fitness at all anymore! And maybe that's their journey. Maybe they got burnt out or don't care anymore. Maybe half of that motivation with Shayloss was to promote a healthy lifestyle for their kids (specifically Gavin), and now that he's grown they don't care as much.
I remember maybe in January Shay mentioned he wants to loose weight and have his entire family run a marathon together one day. Can you BELIEVE looking at Shay now that he has completed multiple marathons, multiple 100 miler bike rides, etc.?? I get he has an addictive personality, but ugh I wish he and Collette would make that content again! Maybe age is a factor too for them.
I just think it's interesting that almost none of the Butlers are into intense physical fitness like they were. I get they were younger and now they all have lots of kids, but still! It just...stopped.

beginner cycler here who needs advice on how to train in southern westchester! I'd like to get some training in and get comfortable before I join Westchester Cycling Club or anything...any advice on trails/paths to train on? Any races during the summer I could train for? Any other general advice greatly appreciated
Work trip to Webster and am looking for a place to swim. Would love the opportunity to swim in Lake Ontario but I'm seeing different opinions of whether people think it's safe to. It would just be a dunk rather than spending a lot of time in the water. Any beaches in Webster?
