Hey everyone looking for some honest advice here
I'm currently in my 2nd year BBA at LPU with a 9.2 GPA My academic profile is 91% in 10th and 71% in 12th I've been prepping for CAT for a 2 months now and hitting 65-75 raw scores on mocks so the prep is going decent
But here's what's been bothering me beyond CAT percentile, what else actually holds people back from cracking top B-schools? Because I've almost never seen anyone from a private university make it to IIMs especially as a fresher with a BBA background
And I don't think I'm the only hardworking person at a private uni so what's really going on? Is it just the weak peer group or is there something more systematic happening
I already know the checklist 99.99%ile, strong WAT-PI, case comps, internships, extracurriculars But is there anything beyond that I might be missing
Also do interviewers (consciously or unconsciously) hold your college against you? Would love to hear from people who've actually been through the process or know someone who has
