Can the array df possible Fish change?

Like, does the place you fish or the time of day that you fish change the list of fish you could catch?

I am aware of the Smasher (and have caught a few), are there any other super rare fish?

On the large crescent island, there is a tiny little pool that is surrounded by cliffs. It is hard to get to on foot and impossible to get out of without building stairs. I thought this might be a freshwater place to fish but the game just counts it as more ocean and the array of fish are the same as anywhere else.

Have I missed a possible freshwater spot?

Lastly, am I crazy? When fishing from a raised area and looking downward at your bobber in decent lighting - are you able to actually SEE a fish pull the bobber under? Have they programmed an underwater animation for that? Am I nuts or has anyone else seen that?

I need this stuff for upgrading extra armor sets.

I have revisited all different types of “ruins” but the chests and baskets are empty after the first looting (except for healing herbs).

Is it possible to get more somehow?

Is there anything worth doing in the game once you have slain the Priestess?

My castle isn’t one of these mega structures I keep seeing posted but it is good enough.
I have mostly all of my favorite armor, weapons, and ship parts maxed out.
I have a decent supply of most crafting materials.
I have been sailing in search of hidden islands. I have found the island of crocs and the island of crushers.

Is there anything left to do besides wait for the next expansion?

Can you predict which way a tree will fall when you’re chopping it down?

Last night I was able to knock down 4 trees with one swing of the axe. Chopped down one big tree, when it fell it knocked down two trees and one of those two knocked down a fourth….

Anyway, I was wondering if I could beat that record but it seems like each tree, when chopped, falls in a random direction - where I am standing while chopping has no measurable effect on which way it falls. In-game gravity doesn’t really seem to effect it either, like sometimes a tree will topple up hill until it hits the ground and rolls.

I know, dumb question…
