Any intl who has recently graduated or is about to graduate? Specially within Illinois? I'm an incoming freshman and I've been revisiting my decision on attending a lot, I need to know how people are doing post grad before it gets too late. Pls let me know if I can msg anyone here or if someone can share their experience in comments. Negative and positive experiences both encouraged since Reddit seems to be a little biased
Canada for engineering (with mandatory coops but no scholarship) or USA for maths in major urban setting (and huge scholarship). I can obviously switch majors since US is flexible but again the coops and post grad life in Canada seems better, no? also for Pakistanis in Canada, do coops always land you job at the same company or because they are too common they don't "promise" you a job. I genuinely need advice on what's going on these days in both countries regarding post grad jobs and sponsorship! We are talking about ROI here!!
Incoming Freshman for bs math. I CANT graduate without internships since Ive been super ambitious about college for the longest time but seeing how intls at DePaul can't find internships has made me super anxious. Call me crazy but I've been stalking LinkedIn profiles to get some hope and not one intl profile has given me a ray of hope. Maybe I haven't been contacting the "right" people. So, this is me asking how the math/physics department is AND how are the intls doing at DePaul?? Been revisiting this decision a lot and want honest opinion before it gets too late.
